Fried succulent pork chops, sweet plantains, filling yellow rice with beans, and a sample of avocado. This restuarant is an excellent and delicious choice of experiencing a little bit of Puerto Rico. The food is as lively as the atmosphere especially with some hot sauce. An excellent first impression and a highly recommend!
Incredible. Stumbled upon this place while in the shopping center. The owner is so warm and inviting and walked us through all of the options. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The chicken falls off the bone and the Cafe Flan is a must if you like coffee!
Just an amazing experience every single time! I have tried most of the items they offer and let me tell you... All 10 out of 10 easy! I love the fact that I can stop by and get my faves in a matter of minutes! They are phenomenal at customer service! You are greeted in the most friendly but professional way. The music, the atmosphere, such a cozy place! The decor is just perfect. Make sure you tried their drink selection and by the way they have bunch of different sweets to offer as well. Call ahead or just stop by... You won't be disappointed! My favorite puertorican spot!!
The food was amazing. It fills you up and makes you feel at home just like the owner made us feel. He took the time to explain to explain what everything was since we never had anything like this.Very delicious and very happy with the service and the food.
Phenomenal. Happened upon this place and we’ll be back! The owner is welcoming and walked us through everything. Felt like dinner at your best friend’s house. Incredible flavors and cooked perfectly. Cafe Flan is a must for the coffee fan! Also recommend the chicken or stuffed plantains!
My sister and I stopped by here while running errands for graduation and it was the best absolute decision we made when we decided to eat here. The food and the hospitality were wonderful. We will definitely be back.
THE BEST PUERTO RICAN EXPERIENCE! Food is high quality, savory and sweet all at the same time. People are so welcoming and generous. Will be coming back every week.
QUEEEE, finding a Puerto Rican restaurant during my work trip was the highlight of my trip. The mofongo con carne frita was amazing, and you have to try the flan de coco <3 me encanto todo. 5 estrellas...I ate the flan before I could take a picture to post :p
Sooooo good...just so good. The chicken just melts off the bone and seasoning is perfection. The plantains are delicious, fried to just the right point. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal, I will be back!

A MUST VISIT PLACE! This was the first time I've ever had Puerto Rican cuisine, and I LOVE IT!!!!The ambience and the the energy brought about by the staff is so welcoming. Great recommendation by the Management as well.

I don’t do review and I don’t take pics! If I did it would just be an empty plate pic! This place is amazing yuca is softest I’ve ever had. Ribs on point! Rice is exceptional. The cafe flan absolutely melts in your mouth! I’ll be back next visit to town!
Hands down one of the best, if not the best puertorican food spot in Hampton Roads. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and every time I come here I feel like I’m at home. Not only is the food amazing and authentic (they have a good variety of food to choose from on a daily basis) but the hospitality and service is good as well. Definitely one of my regular go-to spots. 10/10!
Just happened by this place today with my daughter and we decided to give it a try. SO GLAD WE DID! My daughter had carne frita, which we both loved. Closest thing I've had to compare to it is Haitian griot. It's fried pork bites and they are absolutely delicious! I had the Pollo Asado, which is a kind of rotisserie chicken and a beef empanada. It was huge, flaky and so delicious! So flavorful! We both had rice and beans. I had sweet plantains while my daughter had her favorite, tostones! Can't say enough good about this place. The owner was so nice and offered us a couple of samples of their homemade flan. We sampled coconut, peanut butter, banana. The coconut flan is to die for! I had to get an order of that and my daughter opted for the Nutella flan. Cannot wait to go back here! So much more stuff I want to try. This was our first time having Puerto Rican cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
