It’s pathetic when the wasabi and Ginger is bigger than the entire volcano roll. There are too many options for sushi in Virginia Beach. How in the world these guys have a rating as high as they do is beyond me. The other rolls fall apart and the chicken dish was dry and stale tasting. $170 of food that’s worse than fast food I could have gotten for $25.To be fair, the one positive I give them credit for is that the rainbow rolls looked great, but everything else was terrible.

I visited this location 3x now and I have to say I have had good service each time and the sushi was consistently good. The prices and deals are also great compared to other similar sushi resturaunts locally. I think the eat in dining experience and atmosphere could be better, but overall I'm very satisfied and will officially add it to my list of places for quick sushi.

Unmatched in service and food quality! Probably have been to over 50 different sushi places in Hampton Road In the past 15 yearsand this is hands-down the best place.

Volcano roll appetizers came out too hot and burned the inside of my gums. The way the crab meat fell apart in my mouth, the texture was just weird. Something was off about it. Avocado wasnt fresh, brown all over it. Server wasn't attentive. Had to get up and ask for boxes and the check. Maybe we went at a bad time, but judging by other reviews, I had much higher expectations. All around it was not a good experience.

Sushi was fresh with generous portions. Yakisoba was also delicious.

Chef gave us a volcano roll on the house.

Had to call in order as I wanted to make substitutions not available on door dash. Staff was very accommodating and patient in figuring my best options. I got the Easter roll with salmon instead of tuna. My only complaint is that it was small. You'll definitely need more than 1 roll for hunger more than snackiah. It didn't make it to the highway left alone home. Online I saw sessome as a dressing option but only given ginger over the phone for the salmon salads. I just added sessome oil at home and ate the salad with the free volcano roll which was the perfect accompaniment. Great meal

I go here almost every week with my family or just by my self and this place never fails to disappoint. The flavor of the food and the different rolls are both amazing and delicious. This is my #1 spot for sushi.

I stopped in, having an appointment nearby. I was impressed with the atmosphere and gracious hosting. You will find the waitstaff self effacing, which can seem less attentive than American style. They choose to be unobtrusive.
I was impressed at the generous portions. The sushi box I ordered could easily have fed me and my daughter, had she come. I took half home.
The chef sent a volcano roll, free of charge. Beautifully presented selection of sushi, salad, crab Rangoon, edamame, etc. Crab Rangoon was hot, creamy, and delicious. I was surprised the edamame was cold. Personally, I prefer it hot.
Salad was fresh, crisp. Rather too much dressing for me, but I use much less than average.
The sushi rolls were good, standard fare.
I was happy with my visit.

Vegetarian options: California rolls and some others don’t have sea.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free diets are easy to accommodate.

Parking: Large parking lot with many trees providing shade.

One of the best sushi places around. Went there early on Friday and the customer service was really professional and nice.

We order from here a good amount. They are inconsistent. The only consistent thing is that their spicy sushi is never spicy even when you ask for extra spicy. Their fish usually is good. Their wasabi is so bland you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Edamame is often dried out. Some orders are great (but never spicy like asked) and some orders are sub par.

This place is a hidden gem. Best crab rangoons I have had in a while. Free volcano roll with our order. All the food was bomb. Order

How this place isn’t packed is beyond me. This would be a great date night place. The food is great, price is great, and the portions are generous. I can’t wait to go
