Definitely in my top 5 best places to eat in the area! Amazing Carolina style bbq! Real home cooking at a very reasonable price! I had the pulled pork bbq platter, it came with 2 sides and hushpuppies under 10$ so good it'll make you want to eat here everyday. If you are looking for a great home cooked meal this is the place! My Lunch Bunch and I have gone here 3 times already and looking forward to more.... The food tastes like Mama cooked it, the service makes you feel like you're in Mama's kitchen and you still have money in the pocket! No fancy food..just fresh and well cooked!

I really had high hope's for this place. I drive by all the time but usually miss turn and say next time. Well today was that time and probably the last. I got 2 coney island dogs, macaroni salad and fountain dr pepper. The only thing good was the 23 flavors of the Dr. Pepper. Hot dogs skinny, chilli no flavor and bun was comparable to the cheapest you can buy at Food Lion. I'm not 100% sure the mac salad wasn't spoiled. I'm hoping it was so at least there was reason for taste. I sit there thinking do I really have to pay for this???? I do see great reviews about the chicken but seriously your name has dawgs in it.

We stopped in here for a quick bite to eat and expected a hot dog joint but pleasantly found out that their fried chicken is awesome. It is crispy but with a thin crust and not oily. The chicken was moist and tender. The hot dogs are good too and the restaurant has several table as well as a large counter service area. The staff was engaging and friendly. Prices were very reasonable.
