I had the pleasure of dining at Duck Dive recently and the experience was PHENOMENAL. Steve, Buddy and Cheyenne’s service was above and beyond. I felt as if I was part of their family with the warm welcome that they extended. The food was top notch and the drinks were absolutely refreshing and delicious. I am looking forward to my next visit at Duck Dive Tavern. Thank you again to Buddy, Steve, and in particular, Cheyenne. Fantastic job. ?

I entered shortly after 1:13 am. The door guys were awesome. I entered all smiles, and approached the counter. The blonde long bearded bartender tended to me. As I was was inspired by the drinks of the patrons next to me, I asked the patrons what drink they had, the bartender withdrew as the patrons told me they were enjoying ginger & Jack. The bartender conspicuously ignored me for the next several minutes. I left. Prick ?...

Have never been so mistreated. Came here tonight for a night out with friends. Was physically pushed at 1:30 AM and told it was last call. Normally, when someone calls last call, they have 30 minutes to call a ride and get their bearings before they leave. At duck dive this is not an option. I was yelled at on a megaphone to get the hell out at 1:30 AM and physically assaulted to leave the building. I will never return and I’m completely embarrassed at this establishment exists in Virginia Beach.
Tried to go to Duck Dive for the first time recently to check it out after hearing about it from friends and family. Upon entering and realizing there was no hostess, myself and my girlfriend decided to sit at the bar. Both bartenders seemed to be ignoring us, it took almost 5 minutes just to get a couple menus. After looking at the menu, we decided what we wanted to eat, but the bartenders again did not seem to be interested in serving (or even interacting with) us. We waited for a while, probably 15 minutes total, watching the bartenders talk to other customers while ignoring us. Eventually we just decided to leave since the staff did not seem to want to serve us at all. Will not be visiting again, I hope the staff does not treat everyone like we were treated during our short visit.

Kevin the bartender was great! However, the food was mediocre. The tuna bites appetizer was way too salty. The cod fish sandwich wasn't cooked properly, raw in the middle. Would be fine if it was tuna, but cod needs to be cooked thoroughly. French fries were delicious. Chicken sandwich was good and onion rings too. However, Kevin didn't let us know there was a $3.00 uncharge for the onion rings. 16 oz. Tecate beer was well priced. Just need to work on the fish sandwich.
