We celebrated my birthday at EAT and had one of the best meals ever! Everything was perfect—from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere. We started with the ants on a log appetizer and shared the paella for our main entrée. Both were delicious. The Cupacabra cocktails were the perfect blend of sweet and citrus. Our server, James, was fantastic. His great service and sense of humor made the evening even more enjoyable. The music was also spot-on—an awesome mix of jazz and instrumentals that elevated the ambiance. Overall, a great night! We've been here a few times, and it's always consistently wonderful.

Eat provides a very warm & intimate dining experience. The staff is very friendly & attentive. We will be back! Will & Coral are our two favorite servers. Exceptional!

I went for dinner with friends and I had one of the special dishes. Soft shell crab with salad. It was delicious!!!

Food and service were amazing. We shared a seafood paella that included local seafood that was delicious. Will our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and checked on us multiple times to ensure we didn't need anything else during our dinner. Prob our best meal so far in Virginia Beach. Highly recommend.

"Eat" was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. Excellent and attentive service! The food was absolutely over-the-top. Delicious appetizers of tuna tataki and smoky grilled octopus. Fresh, cravable pistachio-crusted goat cheese salad. And a delectable thai halibut entree. My friend ordered the crabcake, which was a huge serving of 100% crab meat. The Grand Marnier creme brulee was the perfect finish! This is now one of my new favorite restaurants in Va Beach!

We have always loved going to Eat and this time was no exception. The halibut was wonderful as it has always been and the veal shank special was great. Our waiter, Will, was superb. He understood the food and wine selections very well and his attentiveness was perfect.

Our waiter Will did a great job taking care of out table of four during our visit to Eat. He checked on us regularly and kept all our drinks filled and the delicious food delivered to our table in a timely manner. The food and service was exceptional!!!

Eat is the most consistently wonderful restaurant at the oceanfront. The bartender is wonderful, the wait staff are super friendly, and the food is superb! We love it here and it never disappoints!

Love the atmosphere- limited unique menu, just not our taste. The burger seemed to be the most American menu item, second to the tenderloin. Our waiter was awesome and the drinks were great!

This place looks a bit like a dive on the outside but the food is phenomenal!! We took a chance based on the reviews and its popularity with the locals and were not disappointed! The filet and the crab cake entrees were amazing! The wine and bread were really good. The banana bread pudding and coffee for dessert were perfection. We wanted to go back the next night!

Coming in for so many years in a row I would love to see something new in the menu. A specially seafood. We like the small menu, not to complicated dishes. It would be nice to have more choices of fish.

This restaurant looks modest from the outside but the food is terrific! We had the crispy rice paper halibut, which was absolutely delicious, and the chicken and shiitake pot stickers, which had a unique flavor (thanks perhaps to the Szechuan chili oil).

So amazing, must try the halibut! Waiter was so nice and helpful, will definitely become a staple for when we visit!
