El Azteca Mexican Bar & Grill

The service was good, but the food was just weird. Seafood enchiladas topped with yum-yum sauce? Chimichangas topped with marinara? I thought it was supposed to be a Mexican restaurant, but now I'm not sure if they know what they're supposed to be.

The food suck. Ed, I had 2 different meals and you could not eat either one. The service was pretty good. You can't complain about the place but the food I will never come back because it sucked like helping and I had a party before in my ticket was a $100.

Very mediocre, rice was bland and servers were extremely slow. Ensenada was much better.

I have been to the other El Azteca on Constitution and have had no problem with their food. I had a combination platter and the sauce was spicy. It is not suppose to be spicy. I was very disappointed and will not be going back to this location.

Super clean, food was amazing drinks were outstanding.

We had the Fajitas for two. The portions were huge, and they arrived sizzling and hot.

Enjoyed a Mexican Coke and an amazing organic patron Margarita.

Will be back for sure.

This was formerly Encenada, it sucked back then. I'm so glad these people took it over and have improved in every aspect from customer service to the food.

We ended up going two days in a row because the food was sooo good the first time. Between the four of us we got a variety of dishes, fish tacos, enchiladas, kids tacos, taco salad and more . Everything both times was fresh hot and delicious . It's our new favorite Mexican spot !

Ordered a skinny margarita… they poured it out of the machine../ tasted like limeade, if you don’t show me the tequila you are putting in my cocktail then I don’t want it.. won’t go back

One of the best spots in town. I've been going here for over 10 years since it was Ensenadas.

It's 100% better than it was before they reopened.

They serve top notch fajitas. Seasoned perfectly. Generous portion. The ingredients were very fresh. Not a single brown spot on the lettuce or tomatoes!

Their salsa is by far better than several other local places that I won't mention.

The Texas Margherita is delicious. Strong, but not so much so that it's not tasty anymore.

The decor is great. The staff is warm and friendly. It has the feel of a nice family place.

I haven't had any issues here since they reopened.

Parking: No issues finding parking.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is awesome with the little ones! They treat them like family.

I went to the new El Azteca today, where the old Ensenada used to be on the Blvd, for lunch and the food was delicious! Ordered something I never had before and can't wait to come back and get it again. And what a great staff! Everyone was so welcoming and gave such great service. I look forward to eating here regularly. ?
