Attention food lovers in EC, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, if you have not been to this incredible restaurant you do not know what you are missing. El Borincano Restaurant is a tiny little restaurant that you have to go to. Not fancy at all but who cares when you find a place like this. Puerto Rican cuisine that is true and authentic. I've been going here for years, and lately, the food has not tasted like it normally tastes. I don't know if they changed cooks or ingredients, but the food has definitely changed. The pernil was too greasy, and the Pollo guisado was a little dry. I will continue to come eat here in high hopes that the food will taste the way it should taste.

Absolutely blown away by this hidden gem! This hole-in-the-wall Puerto Rican restaurant is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every single dish on my plate and my friend’s plates was a flavor explosion. The meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the plantains were cooked to perfection. I'm already planning my next visit. This place is a must-try!
