Originally I was going to give it three stars because the place isn't good or bad. It's really in the middle, but I've made it two stars for multiple reasons. The first is the service is poor. I'm sitting at the bar and it really doesn't feel like much attention is being given along with a generally lethargic staff. The second reason is the atmosphere is poor. The third reason is because the place is not well maintained. An example would be in the bathroom where half the lights are out. I honestly wouldn't recommend it

First timer. Was asked would I prefer to sit in a booth or at a table, I told them it doesn't matter wherever you show me. Then was told to sit anywhere, I told them no just take me to a table which was a booth. When my server came I asked for water and ordered nachos with chicken. It was nachos, runny sauce and chicken not shredded but carved off a chicken too big and dry. Tried to eat it but again dry chicken and runny sauce. I had to find my server who was on his phone to pay the bill. Margarita was okay not the food won't be back. This may sound like nothing but if I wrote my entire experience it would take all day.

Love, love the food, but I gave three stars for the atmosphere. I prefer sitting in a booth, but it's too dark to read the menu—they should definitely add a light fixture.

Great service. Personal touch. I ordered a custom lunch not on the menu for keto, and they accommodated me perfectly. The smaller portion was also by request.

El Taco Loco is very much open and serving some of the best Mexican food in Virginia Beach! From their burritos, tacos, quesadillas, everything is delicious! Make sure you get some of their white sauce. The service is also amazing! Everyone who works here is lovey and makes sure you’re taken care of!
