Surprised after it had been a while they remodeled a bit with cute booths, new lighting highlighting the updates, and a new sombrero ceiling. Looks great! The fresh guacamole tastes great and served in a really cool way. They also provide the white sauce and salsa with chips if you ask. My husband ordered a steak which tasted really good. I had the brisket tacos and roasted avocado with Picodegallo. We also had the burger that was filling and made perfectly. Everything tasted great. Service is pretty prompt and seated right away. Never had an issue with the service.

El Taco Loco used to be a fantastic restaurant…unfortunately, the last two times I’ve been there it has been pretty bad. Both times, my family went early in the evening so the restaurant was not busy at all, but it took forever to get our food. Additionally, the food came out at different times. The first time it was an order of Chile Rellenos that took almost 15 minutes longer than any of the other food to come out of the kitchen. This time it was my son’s chicken quesadilla kids meal. To make matters worse, the chicken quesadilla didn’t have any cheese in it, but was filled with what resembled chicken pot pie filling; it was so soupy that the tortilla fell apart. We pointed out the error and they brought out a cheese quesadilla which looked like a block of American cheese halfway melted between a tortilla.I ordered Antonio’s tacos which were bad! The steak was cooked way past well done and was rubbery; there was absolutely no flavor to the steak at all. My wife ordered the crab cake chimichangas and said it was saltier than sea water; she could only eat half of it.My family used to love this place because their menu is different than your average Mexican restaurant…unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We were dining there tonight with the BEST server Ashley and some random guy came in claiming to be her manager and following her and other servers around the restaurant causing issues until he YELLED at Ashley to get her stuff and leave IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DINNER RUSH IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. I come here often and have NEVER seen this man before. This was so ridiculous and unprofessional and I would never support a business that treats their best employees like this. DONT EAT HERE!ADD ON: Please see comment below from the restaurant - She is an ex employee because she was told to leave in the middle of the shift exactly like I posted? Of course I wanted to leave a review after witnessing this. Not sure if they can actually delete this or not, but I can be sure to have the other guests that were dining with me write the same review since I wasn’t the only one there.

I've been going to Taco Loco for quite some time and never have I encountered something like today! While the food was tasty, and service was very good, the way the waitresses were treated was horrendous. I don't know if it was the owner who showed up yelling and cursing the waitress out. I find it very unprofessional mistreating workers when they are clearly working hard, especially on a busy night. The way the guy followed the waitress around just to yell at her shows lack of leadership skills. All the waitresses were doing their job as best as possible and having someone disrespect you like that in front of a full restaurant seems a bit ridiculous. I feel so bad for my server as she had to quit on the spot. And I do not blame her. That place seems like a hostile environment. At the end of the night, it was an unpleasant experience.

Place is a rip off, the prices for the amount of food you get is ridiculous. Compared to other Mexican places this quesidilla was the size of a taco plus no sides. I understand it's bc of bidenflation but besides voting smarter and not voting Democrat. You need to stop with shrinkflated

Live down the street and have been frequenting taco loco for years. Bought a Groupon and treated my sister to dinner last week and the waitress said "oh the owner isn't allowing Groupons anymore." Even though it says it expires in Jan 2024?!!!! I wouldn't have spent 50 bucks there if my 40$ Groupon would've been arbitrarily "not accepted"!!!! So now I'm out of the $ I spent on the Groupon???? What a waste! I go to this TL all the time but they just lost a customer. Won't ever go again!
