Great little outdoor space that we rented for a rehearsal dinner. The food was good but overpriced. The setting was great, and they grow their own herbs and produce. They do charge many fees on top of taxes that make the place less of a value. For what we paid, our guests should've had an entire meal instead of a corn salad, some shrimp, some wings, veggies, and spring rolls. I guess the setting and location are what they're charging for. Stumbled on this during a recent trip to Virginia Beach. This place was amazing! The staff was friendly and had great suggestions with the menu. The duck tacos were full of flavor and the pork chop's crunchy crust only enhanced the meat that was cooked to perfection. They also served quite possibly the best creme brulee I have ever had. I will be making a point to return when I visit again.
This was an impromptu choice, but it turned out to be a pretty great one. The first standout was the buffalo mushroom appetizer—essentially buffalo wings, but made with mushrooms. They were delicious, and what really elevated the dish was the homemade buttermilk ranch dressing, which perfectly balanced the spice from the buffalo sauce.
