Good food good service the home made tarter sauce was very good I had the Whiting sandwich with fries and sweet tea. It was all very good. I'll definitely be coming back to try other menu items

We happened upon this place today and loved every bite...healthy portions, well seasoned fish and sides, and the service was good as well. We will be repeat customers.

Staff is very friendly. The portion and price of their signature fish sandwich are awesome. I literally could take one home, get a couple of extra buns, and make three reasonable human-sized sandwiches out of the filling of a single fat fish sandwich!

Ordered the family fried shrimp. Comes with two large sides. We opted to get it to go. The smell inside the restaurant was very odd and we almost turned back before ordering. The order came out quicker than I expected. The server asked if I needed anything and requested some tarter sauce. For 2 pounds of shrimp we were allotted one tiny container. I asked for more and was told they were $0.25 each. I just dropped almost $50 with tax and tip and you're going to try and get another dollar out of me? I thought that was very poor customer service on the owners part. The server was only doing what she'd been instructed to do. I'd have given three stars but the shrimp and corn cakes were very good. And I'm glad I didn't pay for additional tart sauces because it was not good at all. Might be back if in the neighborhood again but won't be making a special trip there.

This was our first time trying Fat Fish and we were pretty disappointed, especially given the price. We ordered the grilled seafood tacos and a lobster roll (hot & spicy option). The seafood tacos had such a small amount of fish in them that I had a lot of bites that were just cabbage and tortilla. They also did not have much flavor. Most seafood tacos we've had have some kind of acidic bite to it (maybe lime or tomatoes), but this was just cabbage, fish, and chipotle sauce (and there was not much sauce, either). The lobster roll was packed with lobster and had great flavor, but it was very small and we would have liked it better with a sauce. I don't know if we just caught them on a bad day, but we will not be returning.

The fish tacos was way too pricey for the amount of fish(4 small chunks)they give you. You get a bet deal with the fish sandwich.

Just left Fat Fish on Holland Rd. I've been to the recently closed Mt. Pleasant location and was pleased. As I did at the Mt. Pleasant location, I ordered the fish sandwich combo. There was enough fish on the sandwich to make at least two sandwiches. Unlike at the Mt. Pleasant location, the fish had a rather bland taste, and the fries were hot but didn't have any crunch or hardness to them, as if someone had cut the potatoes right there in the resturant and fried them. I'm going to hit them up again, but if things remain the same, I don't think they will be able to last at that location; rent isn't cheap there.

Good food, good prices. The staff was willing to accommodate special requests for food allergies. This was a quick place to pickup some food after leaving Funville which is two doors down.
Don't get me wrong I love there food, but today was my first time getting a crab cake they charged me almost $7 for a sand dollar, flat as a pancake crab cake.. As a matter of fact I think the pancakes are more plumper. Was disappointed in the crab cake presentation.

Poor quality food. I did not get what I ordered. The cashier said "oh its fine u can just heat it up" 1 person working while the o.j there is on a grocery store run. Not enough staff to service people in a timely manner. If I could pop ost a pic here of what I got i would but I will share to the Facebook page. Wasted time and money that I cant get back. Order was done and sitting for at least 15 minutes, so a the food was soggy and not hot.

Got the crab cake dinner. The price was different than it said online. I was disappointed by the size of the crab cakes. There was a lot of Old Bay in them. I do think if I ordered something else I may have been satisfied but the crab cake dinner was not worth it.
