Firehouse Subs Strawbridge Marketplace

Big sign says Thanksgiving Turkey Sub. I order it and pay for it. Then I'm told they no longer serve it (3 days before Thanksgiving ??). On a good note - the service at this location has gotten much faster.

Stanford gave me exceptional service. He greeted me with a big smile and recommended the Cajun mayo and it lived up to the expectations. It’s not everyday that you find an employee as valuable as him.

I usually never leave reviews, but I feel that I have to say something before someone gets sick. The last two occasions that I have been to the Strawbridge store it has been filthy. Sticky floors, drink station in a state of disarray, food prep surfaces look as if they haven't been wiped down all day. Then add the attitude and general disinterest of the three teenagers working the counter. I don't expect anything extravagant from people working customer service jobs, most of us have been there at one point, it is what it is. But I shouldn't be made to feel like a burden, which was kind of impressive seeing as how they maybe said five words to me during my visit. Getting back to the facts, sandwiches were placed directly on unclean prep surfaces, the dinning area was a disaster, and the pinnacle of the experience was witnessing one of the three teenaged employees hock not one, but three lougies in the trash bin (I'm assuming there was a bin, but given everything else I witnessed it could have just been to the floor) directly next to the sandwich prep area. I really hate to leave such a scathing review as I do appreciate what firehouse does for first responders, but it is also why I felt compelled to say something. Please do better.

Asked for the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and received a regular firehouse turkey sandwich. I definitely said Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and even pointed to the picture on the menu inside. It was too late for me to turn around because I'm a truck driver and had to get back on the road. Really was looking forward to that Thanksgiving sandwich. smh

No customer service skills. Might as well have given my order to a kiosk. At least then it would have been correct.

Went in there for the Veterans Day BOGO deal. Might as well have given my order to a kiosk, because I was never asked what size, if I wanted a meal or anything. No basic customer service exists there. They assume everyone that goes there has ordered there before. I have not. My order was wrong. Regretfully, I even tip’d. Go to the one on princess Anne. Much better customer service. They actually engage with you to make sure you’re getting what you want.

I'm not sure why I ordered online. I would expect that if it's in writing, they can get it correct. NO. Totally hosed my order up. Go elsewhere!

Firehouse Subs is easily one of my favorite sandwich shops! The subs are always fresh, packed with flavor, and made with quality ingredients. 9/14/25 5:45 PM After my husband and I ordered we sat down and waited for our order to be ready. We were not asked if we were eating in or taking out. When the order was ready and we were getting ready to eat we were told by one of the two young men working that the dining room was closed when the sign on the door said open until 9:00 Sunday. We did not feel welcomed and will not be returning to this location.
