I am Mexican, born and raised in Southern California. This restaurant came highly recommended to us. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. Chips were store brought. Salas had good flavor, you could taste the spices ??. The Pork Tamale was terrible. It was not fresh. It tasted old the pork meat was dry, and masa had a weird taste to it. I have eaten 100’s of homemade tamales and I would not recommend these. I had to try my husband’s favorite, Chile Relleno. This was not good. The chile was not tender and soft, it was not egg battered and fried, the Relleno Salas was not good and cheese was not melted. My husband tried another of his favorites, Menudo. For $17.00 dollars he was served a good size bowl of seasoned chile broth. The broth had a good flavor. A few pieces of tripe and totally missing the hominy corn.We were expecting authentic mexican food like I grew up with. My Abuelita is from Guadalajara, Jalisco, region of Mexico. She was an excellent chef!!

Grande Burrito Grill is my partner & I’s go-to place for Mexican cuisine!! This little “hole-in-the-wall” is so cozy that you can tell it’s owned and operated by family, because they make you feel like family, too! Been coming here periodically over the years & moved down the street last year— and even though we only dine in twice a month at most: they always remember and welcome us like it was just yesterday. The service is always fantastic. The food is always fresh & delicious, even when ordering takeout, as they make everything in house… not to mention that the prices beat out most other Mexican restaurants in the area… that’s a feat for being a small business! They will always have our patronage. ??

Was visiting family in town and we stopped here for lunch. Some of the BEST service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Chuy never let our drinks get down to half filled, had new salsa and chips for us without even asking, gave us great recommendations on food and drink. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Family run and you can tell everyone truly cares about their customers experience!
