This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Not just the best Mexican meal, but one of the best meals of any type of food.

We had a disappointing experience at Guads on Atlantic Ave. The food was overpriced, greasy, and underwhelming in both flavor and portion size. We ended up boxing it up just to give it away—honestly, Taco Bell would’ve been more satisfying. To make matters worse, our bill listed prices higher than those printed in the menu.
The atmosphere didn’t help either—flies buzzed around our table, which was unpleasant. An automatic 18% gratuity was added, which felt unearned given the experience. There weren't any signage informing me of the additional charges or the increase in the cost. We’d give the food 1 star and the service maybe a 3. We visit Virginia Beach every summer, but this place won’t be getting a second chance.

Visited during a busy time. We were seated then provided chips and salsa to start. Ordered 3 chimichangas (2 chicken, 1 seafood). Ordered 2 a la parrilla (1 chicken/ 1 shrimp). Order chicken taco.
Foods was hot good. Ordered 2 watermelon margaritas, a strawberry coconut daiquiri, and strawberry margarita. Watermelon margaritas seemed a bit strong.
Staff friendly and accommodating to my party's needs. We were researed upon request. One of our drinks were remade.

The service was fine but I found a piece of metal in my to-go vegetarian fajitas. I tried calling to let them know. They did not answer. I am very concerned. This is Guads 200 at 21st VA Beach.
Food, drinks, and service were all great, but the location leaves a bit to be desired! It is a short walk to the beach, but it sits on a side street with no views at all, unless you enjoy watching traffic come and go.
I do not recommend this place. The experience was terrible. They took a long time to bring my order and they never brought the bill. The worst part was when I tried to use the restroom. There isn't one specifically for men and when I got closer there were 2 women using it with the door open.

Food was decent. Service was OK initially but once we had ordered our waiter totally forgot about us. They charge a 20% gratuity without your knowledge which is really deceptive. I will never go back.
