This was our second visit to Hyatt House this month (October). We were impressed with the cleanliness, the comfortable bed and room, the welcoming staff, and the breakfast crew and meal. Of course, the view from our room was spectacular.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. My balcony allowed me to sit and watch a beautiful sunrise over the ocean. The room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was super clean. Breakfast was from 7-10, plenty of time for a late riser to get down there and eat. Just step out of the back and your on the beach. Great scenery. The staff was always smiling and always offering to help. Excellent customer service. I'll be back next year.

This hotel was excellent in every way. The staff was very warm and friendly. I met 5 different staff and they all made sure I had what I wanted. The garage was very easy to access and parking was just fine. The breakfast was good, great variety. My room was spotless and silent. I loved my stay there.

Hotel and staff great just stay away from manager for breakfast has a bad attitude towards guest. Breakfast was good and help yourself could help to add bagels more fruit. Parking garage had issues were your car was able to be taken due to exit gate’s didn’t work we’re left up

We arrived early and they graciously let us check in with no fuss. Our room was clean and had incredible view of the ocean. We were very happy with the staff and the professionalism we experienced. We will come again.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at! I was in town on business. Antonio went above and beyond with making my stay comfortable from the time I arrived! I have to come back in the future for work and I cannot wait to come back to this hotel. Feels like home

Antonio, Robert and all the ladies at breakfast were amazing! They went above and beyond during my entire stay. The hotel was in great shape, beds were comfortable, beautiful views. Would definitely stay again!

Will definitely be staying again!! Me and my girlfriends were coming to Virginia Beach for the first time since we usually stay in Myrtle Beach however we were far from disappointed with the hotel, activities and eateries around the Oceanside and the town city area. Would love to give a special shout out to David the Manager and Antonio the Host as they were spectacular and fast at fixing some parking garage issues at check in. The hotel should offer a few more amenities such as the other Hyatts and Hotels we’ve been to however, it had everything necessary for our vacation!

We had a king Suite. Balcony overlooking the ocean. Beautiful bathroom wish it did have a tub though. Wish the hotel had a bigger pool and jacuzzi. Couldn't use the restaurant bar because there was a high school reunion on that Saturday evening.

Had some crab legs, they were good, wait staff did the minimum necessary. One thing I didn’t like is that they automatically add an 18%gratuity which for the service I got was too much, and I usually tip properly. They also tacking another 3% if you use a credit card. Tacky.
Service was sub par. Noticed the sever was very busy and alone, with about 8 tables. We ate our entire meal with no napkins, or silverware. We were never checked on once our food came.

Great hotel overall. Included Buffet breakfast was great. The room we had had two queen beds, a kitchenette and a sectional couch. Perfect for our family. Parking is $20 per day and you have to park across the street in a parking deck.

The hotel is decent and the location is great. The front desk staff was not too helpful as far as explaining how the wristband keys work so we ended up riding the elevator up and down and couldn't get to our floor until another guest explained how they work. The parking garage is across the street and the loading and unloading zone is small and rushed. But the thing that made me write this review is the additional charges. I knew parking was additional, although I think that should be included in the hotel cost, but there was a $30 /day destination fee, like wth is that. And then taxes which totaled up to an additional $200+ on top of the $600+ stay for 2 nights. They should just be upfront about the total price that you'll be paying instead of sneaking in the additional fees after the fact. It's quite a bit underhanded. I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant either. The food was not worth the money. The free breakfast is ok but not great.

We are hyatt members and normally have a great stay but the hotel needs some remodeling. Our room was not very clean and the couch was really dirty. The restaurant was very expensive. Three of us eat and it was one hundred thirty four dollars.
