So today a group of friends, I’ve had the pleasure of living life with for over forty years met at a place at Hilltop called Hackers….. we try to do this at least a couple of times a year….. everything was wonderful. It was actually one of the best venues we’ve had until the bill came.
They had told us that the room rental would be a certain price, never mentioned any additional gratuity or tax. So we collected the appropriate amount from all attendees to pay for the room…. We got the bill and then there was a very large “room” gratuity attached to it as well as a room tax.
And then they also added a 20% gratuity for each individual check. This also was never disclosed when the room was reserved (other than fine print on the menu that says large parties will have a 20% gratuity) …by the way, Not everyone ordered anything off the menu…so how would you know
Mind you, the waitress was fabulous and deserved every bit of the gratuity, thats not the point, its the point that it was never brought to anybody’s attention
I contacted the manager who contacted the owner (twice) who after both conversations then wanted to charge us an extra amount of money because we were a half hour beyond our initial time….we were there a half hour beyond our initial time because we were arguing about this bill….all I was asking this establishment’s owner was to waive just the $80 ($120 including the undisclosed tax) which he refused….
The establishment would have made 5 times this amount each time we revisited multiple times with our patronage and would have easily recovered their phantom charges…
Anyway….We were all very sad Because we will not be going back there and it was the perfect spot for us all to gather together at least two times a year ….good luck Hackers…and we all noticed that half of your establishment was empty today….you might want to think about the “why”…..

She provided the best service as both the server & bartender all while keeping track of our tab so we didn't go over. The food was delicious and came out quickly (though still hot and fresh) and the drinks were tasty too. Thank you Hackers for helping us make this event a success.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! From the fun and lively front of house with so many simulators and incredible food- to the upscale private cigar lounge with a fully stacked humidor- Coming from Scottsdale Az and having a hard time finding what was available to me there- this feels like home! This place is my new go to! I cannot wait to host events here or just come enjoy a drink!
Edit: It appears a woman has left a review claiming a woman named Amy works at hackers (I do not work at hackers but I do have the same name!) hackers is an amazing place for food and fun and golf!
Also- try the burger that has the delicious and amazing sweet bun. It’s my favorite! The drinks are perfect and the cigar lounge is top notch! Best in the area! We love hackers!!!

I am on my golf team at high school and this is a good place to come and practice or have fun! All the workers are so nice and the food is really really good. My mom takes me here and we always have a good time together. The owners are so nice and say hi to you when you sit at the tables.

Went here last Thursday and I really enjoyed myself. It was just a fellas night out filled with cigars, food, and cocktails. I had the salmon which was really good. Only thing I would say is maybe the staff in the lounge would offer say a menu of the cigars, suggestions, or general knowledge on them as I’m still learning them being that I’m not a smoker. Outside of that everything was great and I’ll be returning soon to try other dishes. Lastly, my margarita was not balanced at all as it just tasted like pure tequila which some may like but I rather sip to enjoy.
Disappointed with this indoor golf simulator. The equipment felt outdated, the graphics were clunky, and the accuracy just wasn’t there—it didn’t feel close to playing real golf. The sensors struggled to read shots consistently, which made it more frustrating than fun.
The atmosphere didn’t help either. The space felt cramped, and the overall setup seemed rushed and not well maintained. For the price, you’d expect a much higher-quality experience.
Indoor golf can be a blast when it’s done right, but unfortunately, this location missed the mark. Definitely room for improvement.

First of this place is cool!!! Me and my Husband reserved a room never have visiting Hackers before and as soon as we got into our little bay it was awesome! we didn’t pre pay anything and were walking into it not really knowing what to expect. an associate came in asking us how long we’d like in the room we said an hour and asked how much it was for extra time she said it was free and that adding time wouldn’t add extra cost (most likely miscommunication #1) The food was amazing portion sizes were decent service was great. The reason I give 4 stars is because the screens were a bit laggy when we golfed it didn’t always register and the readings were wayyy off at times. The bill came and the room for one hour was sixty dollars (not a problem but it wasn’t disclosed. had we had asked for 2 hours or to add on time from the other associate we would have been under the impression you pay for the food only) but me and my husband thought that was crazy considering today economy and being in an establishment similar to this like Top Golf. but no where did we see or hear 60 an hour starting out which can be a bit hefty if it wasn’t disclosed when you walk in. Overall it was nice and a great private atmosphere. i’m sure if we had done a bit more reaserch we could have found the price for the room but this was certainly a nice on occasion thing. Love the servers.

We had an outstanding experience at Hackers !!! We rented the VIP room for a birthday party . Ryan the Chef was awesome, food was amazing!! The service was amazing, we had Colleen as our server, she went over & beyond to help make our celebration perfect!!

Do not go to Hackers at Hilltop…and here is why!
