Very pleasant service. The all you can eat is really good. It is made to order. Great selection.
It is now sushi king. All you can eat sushi! I love the change. Better quality and service!
One star ONLY BECAUSE it is now a Sushi King. NO LONGER HAPPY BUFFET ?THAT BEING SAID: I didn't eat there because I was looking for a regular buffet option. Sushi King does offer all you can eat options BUT with 3 kids it's too much. About 19 bucks for adults really not bad for what you get BUT again I was going for Happy Buffet. Hopefully this saves someone a trip.
It is now Sushi King. I went the other day and was so disappointed. The Sushi Kings in Norfolk and Chesapeake have good food. There was little sushi to choose from. The appetizers were all cold and had were not fresh. I will not go back. Don't waste your money. Make the extra trip to Norfolk or Chesapeake.
Sushi that I ordered that was received was good. I was not given one roll I ordered. Hibachi was okay. Loud customers playing music on their phone that staff did nothing about.
It is now Sushi King. The food was ok, I've had much better from Sushi King before though. The 3 star is more for the fact it was freezing and the staff was unfriendly and rude. Some of our food came out cold. The Habichi rice came out before the food and wasn't the warmest. My companions got their food when asked about mine ( after 10 minutes) was rudely told it was being cooked but I think was forgotten. Not the best Sushi King experience
It's now Sushi King. Its set up is consistent with the new establishment. Good people serving there.
Happy Buffet was an exceptional restaurant over a year ago but they changed the name and operation to Sushi King and about 6-8 months later changed it back to Happy Buffet but sadly the taste and quality of the former Happy Buffet did not return with it's name.
Food was dry, hibachi extremely weak, it had to be because we went late on Xmas Eve. So can't really complain to the obvious, using star rating as appropriate ly as possible. All other times are between 4-5 star visits
Not a bad lunch spot. Different types of sushi, very clean

Fish didn’t taste right, and texture was mealy, not at all fresh. There was some sort of a sauce on the California Roll.Volcano roll came deep fried amd over cooked.Soup (egg drop) was tasty and good. Also, we ordered this through door dash and the Sushi King site, and instead this buffet was substituted for the “Sushi King” restaurant brand. We found out that this was not where we had thought we had ordered it from by looking at the receipt stapled to the delivery back! Very disingenuous!
My new go to place for all my favorites. I love that you get a free soup after your good reaches the required weight. Clean and cozy atmosphere. The music is always soothing.
The price was usual for a buffet, and there is a pretty decent spread but most of it didn't taste that good. There was some seafood, like crab, crawdad, and the seafood usually made with sushi but thats it. I gave it two stars because I personally didn't like the taste of most of what I got.
So happy this place is back open for dine in. Was so very good.
My brother and I went there for lunch nice quiet trendy food was decent
