Food was Excellent
But -
Ordered Dinner, Out on Deck.
Husband's bbq wings and fries came out with my fries. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my flatbread, while my fries got cold... why couldn't our food be brought out All at the same time??
Server never asked if we wanted a 2nd drink! Bottle and Drink Glass were Empty.
1 beer with Wings? 1 drink?
1 napkin with Wings? 1 NAPKIN.
We had to go inside to get more, and could only find cocktail napkins.
Server had *no idea* why we weren't happy.
2nd year in a row eating at Hemingways, and Both times the Service was Horrendous.
We are done spending precious vacation time here.

Had drink the first night and breakfast the next morning. Would not advise the breakfast burrito. No taste, no bacon and the wait did not make sense.

The staff was very friendly and the service was quick.
We ordered 2 pizzas one cheese and one bourbon chicken. We each loved our own pizza, the bourbon chicken pizza was literally like taking a shot! Not for me but my boyfriend liked it which is so funny. We also got a piece of peanut butter pie to share and that was a MUST! We wanted to get another piece before we left but talked ourselves out of it only for both of us to mention it way later in the day.
The peanut butter pie is something you can’t pass up. It’s a skinny piece but it’s very rich and sweet so to share with someone was fine.
There is no parking on site but there is a parking lot behind the building across the street where you can pay $15 to park.

Staying at the Holiday Inn which this restaurant was connected to and decided to try this place out. Holiday Inn gave us coupon to use for this restaurant which was nice. The food was very good considering we ordered take out. Ordered out and ate dinner by the beach which was very nice. Definitely try this place out if you’re in the area.

1st time visiting the restaurant and it was OK. I ordered the wings and side salad. The lettuce was wilted and not good. The alcoholic drink was good. The waitress Lindsey was friendly.

Sidenote; ants crawling on the outside tables were horrible. The outside area needs to be sprayed, swept, etc. I probably ate a few ants since they crawling on the table.

Also, if you stay @ Holiday Inn, you get 15% off using the coupon they give you.

We waited ten minutes for staff to figure out if they could seat us -the restaurant was 3/4 empty. Staffing problems maybe? Our server, Belle was the highlight of the evening . Excellent service.m! She was fast, fun and got everyone’s orders right.
The bar served us all summer beach favorites, the blackberry mojito was especially good, and the chicken wings were huge.
The biggest letdown was some of the food. The portions were huge! But several of us ordered burgers, and they were terrible. Apparently they do ‘smash burgers’, and they weee inedible. VEERy dried out, luke warm, and the brioche bun was a soggy, gluey mass.
For a staple menu item, this needs work.

It's inside the Holiday Inn Oceanside. Service is really kind and attentive here however the food is hit or miss. I'm almost positive the dip and soup are the same item and for the price I'd just be expecting better.

My husband and I celebrated our 2 year on July 1st. at Virginia Beach. While there, we had dinner at Hemingway one evening. Hemingway has a very nice atmosphere and great food! We enjoyed looking out at the beach while enjoying our drinks. 10 out of 10!

Stopped in for food, and they had a 30-minute wait for two people. There were many open tables and they had very few diners. We left due to this.
