If I could rate a negative, I would. How can you charge full price when you don’t have a full menu selection. How can you charge anything when the food is either not cooked enough or cooked to the point of being burnt????? Buffet City offers a typical Asian-inspired buffet with fried rice, chicken, and other dishes. While the food tastes fine, the selection is limited, and some items, like the sushi, may not be as fresh as desired. The Mongolian grill provides some made-to-order options, but the seasonings are lacking. Overall, the experience can be hit or miss, with one reviewer describing a particularly disappointing visit. A recommended alternative is the Buffet City location in Newport News, which reportedly has a better food selection.
