Great neighborhood bar and excellent restaurant. Love the live music and open mic nights! Restaurant until about 9pm on the weekends and then it gets pretty crowded and fun until 1:30-2am

Delicious food. Had the chicken cheese steak with fries and couldn't recommend it more. Fries were the perfect fried consistency. The cheese steak was a great value for the meat provided on a just right toasted bun.

I rarely leave a review like this, but I feel it’s important feedback. My mom and I had just driven 7 hours, missed the sunset at CBB, we were hungry, and we found HK Bay listed as open until 10 p.m. upon arrival We were told the kitchen actually closed at 9:30— and being unaware of the exact time, I flipped my phone over to check the time and watched my phone go from 9:29 to 9:30. Which was met with a “yeah sorry, kitchen is closed “ There was no offer to check with the kitchen, serve drinks, or suggest take-out. While I understand wanting to close on time, it was disappointing that there wasn’t an effort to accommodate guests who arrived within posted hours. We ended up at another nearby restaurant who gladly served us, earned our business, and I just left a positive review. We did not end up having food there hence no review for that. I Didn’t want to have to leave this review but for customers, know kitchen closes 9:30 sharp.

At first was a little disappointed because the name definitely came off like it was on the water but was pleasantly surprised after we got out food. When we first got there they were doing music bingo and it was so loud and overstimulating I wanted to leave. It would be nice if the tables outside of the main dining area could be used for people not playing bingo. Luckily we asked our server if we could move if it was quieter and at first she said people still play out there but she came back and said no one was out there so it would be quieter. I got the Gouda and beef tips and it was so good 10/10. My boyfriend got a cheesesteak and loved it. We also got crab dip and it was the best we’ve had around here so far. I’m still trying to find crab dip that lives up to Maryland standards though! The cookie skillet was an awesome way to end dinner as well! Compared to other restaurants this place has a decent amount of options for those who don’t like fish/shrimp etc!
Stopped in one night to have dinner with some past coworkers. The establishment from outside gives it a mom and pop look. It is actually not on the water over looking a bay but that's fine.
The service and food were great. The only irritating part was all the flies. we arrived shortly after the establishment opened and were sat at a table with a ton of dead flies in the window seal ledge. The place could use a little deep cleaning to spruce. It back up.
I had the 6 oz steak with green beans and an up charge for the Parm garlic risotto. Seen on another post that the risotto is good so I wanted to give it a try. I think the upcharge price was a little high. They should make it a max of $3 for the upcharge.
Overall great place. I would likely return if in the area due to the amazing staff and good food.
