Whoever wrote the menu didn’t put the same energy in the food. It is the equivalent of a person writing on their resume ; professional substance cultivator , when they actually worked at McDonald’s. The menu draws you in, but what you get- you end up wondering why that dish is at that price. You can see where they cut costs in their dishes. Mac and cheese egg rolls with marinated steak? 90%Mac and cheese- 10% tough steak hidden by being spicy and a chewy wrap(cheap) the wedge salad was ok-mostly yellow iceberg. Toppings were plentiful but that dressing was cheap ranch not what they depicted on the menu. Got the marinated pork belly pasta- teeny tiny bits of pork and undercooked spaghetti noodles. At the end of the day they talk a good game but have little follow thru. Either up their game in the kitchen or revise their menu by $5 each item. Oh and the outside eating area feels like a greenhouse, the hostess seems judgy, and don’t allow employees to come in to fold shirts at a table near customers and gossip while doing their makeup

In VA Beach for the weekend; it’s offseason so the touristy beach area is dead, and honestly it’s rather dumpy IMO. I happened to find this place scrolling on Google Maps so I decided to take a drive and check it out. It’s a true neighborhood bar and grille with delicious food and chill vibe. I had the pasta with smoked gouda cheese and beef tips… so delicious. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area!
