A local brewery in Va Beach! Vivian was our bartender/informationalist and was outstanding! She was very informative on beer selection and knowledgeable on each product. We had two flights and one kolsh and each was excellent. I loved the presentation on the flight, have never had them deliver in such a nice piece of art. The restaurant/brewery was super clean and will be a go-to establishment when I am back in Virginia Beach!

This place is awesome. I had a Groupon on this visit. I had the Calamari appetizer. It's a huge serving portion and every bite was crispy. I had the Extra Smokey burger. Burger was cooked medium and the Gouda cream was excellent. Avacado and bacon was great tasting as well. I had fries for my side. You can have healthy broccoli, sweet potato fries or seasonal fruit. Vibe and food were excellent. Waitress/hostess was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this place. Groupon or not. I will come again. Social distancing and face mask required.

Service good. Scaled down food menu. Beer selection used to be better. I get it....Covid.Burger...pretty good. Chicken wings not quite what I expected but the sauce was good.

We got the food delivered. I assume that was our mistake. The food was hot and super lackluster. The wings were nasty, the burger tasted like mush (bacon jam and Parmesan aoili had me so excited too) The fries were the only thing good about our meal.

I have had their beer before but never been to the brewery. The staff was friendly; I had the hefeweizen with mango and guava. Surprisingly, it was not sweet, just hint of the flavors. My wife had the stout nothing special, but the proceeds are donated to charity, so that's a +.

The place has an amazing assortment of beer but I don't drink so I can't comment on them but I can say that there is one item on the menu that was outrageously good and that is their wings. The waiter described them as fall off the bone good which I did not believe until I tried to pick one up and the meat literally fell off the bone. The sauce is a combo of mustard, sweetness and a hint of heat and tastes so good that nothing else on the menu could match it. The waiter was friendly, timely and helpful. It's also located steps from the beach but just far enough away that you get a break from the frenzy of the main strip. The sign says it is veteran owned so of course we had to give it a try! The burger and pannini are also in the pics but those wings were the star during our visit.

The start was bad. All sodas and drink were flat. Food came out and it was good. The problem was my wife took a terrible fall and staff seemed not to care. They brought the bill and even didn't offer medical attention and management never even approached us. I requested insurance information and waitress was hesitant and evasive. Since wife was in pain left to hospital immediately. Don't waste your time in this establishment no real carw for the customers.

Great place for craft beer & pub grub

The beers were really good. Loved the breathe easy colaboration. The waitress we had sucked. She was busy on her phone. Had to ask for napkins, more beer and for her to take our order. The food was tasty. I just wish we had gotten the other waitress. She was on her game.

My husband and I have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed! We love to support small, local joints, but we are both vets so this being a veteran owned place sealed the deal for us! Can't wait to go back!!

Great stop for lunch at Virginia beach. The burger was huge and the salad with steak, delicious. Also enjoyed the mimosa flight ??? will definitely return next time we are at the beach ???

Home Republic is an awesome spot where you feel welcome and at at home. The beer is on point and the food is awesome. This is a must visit for those who like to drink well and eat good. I look forward to the next visit! Wish I could be a regular...

Service was terrific. Menu was limited and prices were medium. They are redoing the menu so it will be different from when this review was done. Food was very good from this menu.
