As usual we had a wonderful time at the Isle! This time was especially impressive as our server Anthony and the chef created a special sauce for my rockfish because of an acidity issue. Thank you!!

Best restaurant in VA Beach! I make sure to eat here every time I'm here. Veal Fiorentino is the best I have ever had! Fantastic!

Service was superb. Minestrone soup and spinach salad were excellent. Veal chop is pricey, but perfectly prepared and well-portioned. Salmon was served with a beautifully light spaghetti with fresh marinara sauce. Side order of spinach was a great addition. Lemon sponge cake dessert was a great finish. The 'only' reason this rating was not a perfect '5' was because a darker, more robust coffee would have perfected the dessert finish. This restaurant is a hidden gem atop the Holiday Inn hotel. Amazing view and ambience. Very enjoyable with a beautiful, refined (but not stuffy) atmosphere. Of the three dining experiences we had so far on this trip, Isle of Capri has been the best. We highly recommend this place for a satisfyingly special dining experience.

For the price of a finer restaurant the service was absolutely horrendous. All but one meal came out and the person who didn't get theirs had to wait 40 minutes, we ended up eating while he waited so our food didn't get cold. The service was so bad, I ordered an espresso martini that was served without vodka, just baileys, coffee and seemingly water. I had two previously so no, this wasn't the norm. No apology, but it was remade. Also, check your bill, we had drinks added to our tab that weren't ours. If you want to try this food, I suggest to go, or try Aldo's instead. Much better Italian food and amazing service. This was a family dinner that took two and a half hours, with some of the worst service I've ever experienced.

First, the food is amazing, as is the restaurant environment. My husband and I chose to come for birthday on this trip. We were sat right away, but no one acknowledged us for 15 minutes at the table. Our waiter was great and friendly, but did not make any conversation with us although I heard her ask other tables if they were celebrating anything. Needless to say, we weren't asked, so my birthday wasn't acknowledged. With that the food is great and we had a nice meal, so we will be back

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at aisle of Capri! We return to this restaurant every time we visit Virginia Beach and it does not disappoint! The service and ambiance are also excellent!

The service was the best part of the experience. Our Server was wonderful, attentive and congenial. Even though the reservation was made 2 months in advance, however, we were seated away from the windows in a back corner so we could not even see the ocean. Our guests travelled from all over the U.S. and Isle of Capri was a special location they were looking forward to seeing the ocean while having fabulous Italian cuisine. On the food, two flounder dishes were “mushy”, a filet was “excellent”, a salmon was “delicious”, a lasagna and a manicotti were both “good”. The house-made cannoli was the best part of the meal. A disappointing experience overall which was a surprise from a restaurant with such a high profile in Virginia Beach.

We came to Virginia Beach for the Neptune Festival despite the inclement weather. We had planned on maybe an afternoon on the beach-it happened! After reviewing the menu and the location we decided to reserve a table. We had not planned on much more than swimwear, t-shirts, flipflops and and shorts for the weekend. Once at the entrance we were informed of the policy. That should have been reinterated at the reservation. It was 8:30pm...we were starving. We were not even offered the option of ordering something to go. I would have even purchased two "collared/no logo" shirts if they had been offered. Disappointing is an understatement.

The food and drinks at the Isle of Capris were outstanding. We had calamari appetizer which was lightly breaded and simply delicious, tableside Caesar salad that was amazing and the server did a fantastic job of explaining her every move in making it! I had the risotto special and my husband had a veal dish that were both well executed. Nice wine list and well made cocktails. The only critique I have is the front end crew who made my husband leave and change his shirt because it had a vineyard vines logo on it. Apparently they have a strict dress code which i think should be clearly spelled out in the numerous text and email reminders you get for your reservation. However as the night went on, others were allowed in with logo-ed T shirts, so not too sure where their consistency is. That being said, once you are at your table the service and food you receive in the dining room outweighs the arrogant behaviors of the girls in the front. We would go back, and husband would wear a plain shirt to avoid the humiliation.

We were celebrating our anniversary and Isle of Capri is our favorite. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and it is the BEST. We also order the shrimp franchise ! Look forward to our next visit.

I have extensive knowledge of the Culinary experiences and I must say that Isle of Capri isn't the place to offer you one! I ordered Fra Diavolo dish which is a Spicy pasta dish with seafood and in this case Clams and Shrimp with Linguine pasta. The lack of this place's culinary expertise became quite evident when they served the dish with a thick Puréed Tomato sauce(the sauce they put in a little bowl and served with Calamari) instead of a much lighter tomato sauce. I had a few bites and left the rest of the plate untouched! My daughter ordered Pasta with Alfredo Sauce and chicken and her experience wasn't much better since she left her entire plate untouched. Per my daughter's request, I didn't mention anything until the waiter inquired about it and Sadly even though he saw the plates were almost untouched, he didn't put two and two together to offer something different. He told us that he has been working there for 20 years. Their Cesar salad was prepared in front of us and was very good and the views were pleasant.

Isle of Capri is the best restaurant the beach has to offer. My husband and I treat ourselves by going there for special occasions and to show out of town guests the beautiful ocean view from the sixth floor while enjoying exceptional food and service. We have tried most items on the menu and have never had a disappointing meal. The table side Caesar salad is impressive and a superb way to start the dining experience. The servers are professional and friendly ~ we always ask for Don but he can be in high demand and all the other servers we have had have been excellent. The prices reflect the excellence you can expect, so not a restaurant for an everyday evening out. But worth every penny when going out for a special occasion.
