Java Surf is where it's at for flavorful food and fresh coffee that hits the spot every time! You can even play a game of ping pong while you wait! With the new Dome right around the corner, it will be a great spot to have a cup of coffee and grab something tasty before or after a show, or surfing at the new Surf park when it opens! Super friendly staff, too! Enjoy!!
Super cool spot! Love all the murals and art. Staff was very friendly and was able to provide great local recommendations. Breakfast food was great and was so happy to see my all time favorite Miss Vickie's potato chips!
Ordered a coffee and croissant, both were phenomenal! The vibe, food, hospitality and all about this place were 🤙. We showed up a bit early, they invited us in, got a sandwich going and took great care of us. New favorite place on my go to breakfast spots!
Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. My husband ordered online and called because the menu was weird (sandwiches were under burrito, navigating the online order was strange and difficult). The guy who answered was short, and made an error and was not interested in helping… but the girl behind the counter was very nice and helpful.
Coffee and food was great and quick… and counter girl’s service was great.
Loved the vibe! The coffee & the hot sauce are amazing!!!! The food was mid, for spending $52 I got a cold burrito. But the hot sauce on it was the star of the show. Will be ordering that to Buffalo when we run out!
Best coffee in VA! The setting is also friendly, warm, and very personable. The workers and owner were extremely kind and brewed with love!
Big Kahuna was delicious! Vibe was perfect. Watched my boys play ping pong while enjoying my coffee set. We will be back
It is a really nice place I went there for my birthday and the food was good the drinks were great and the whole place was just amazing
The drink was disgusting, any attempt at customer service was grade F, they need to Recertify there staff in how customer service works! If the customer isn’t happy try to make it right!
I love this place. Best coffee on the beach. Service is super friendly and personal
What an awesome vibe with great breakfast. Love the place and the people this is definitely a must if you’re coming to the beach. Love IT

I ordered on DoorDash and honestly these were the worst skillet meals l've ever had. First off the Hashbrowns were COLD and not cooked properly. Eggy's Bagels Breakfast is actually a ghost kitchen from the store Java Surf® Cafe & Espresso Bar. The pictures of the food on doordash is not what we received! The Hashbrowns were supposed to be tater tots and the cubed ham that was supposed to be in our skillet meal was lunch meat ham they just slapped ontop the food. Please save your money and spend it elsewhere!! Spent about $35 for two tiny containers 10/10 not worth it and will not be ordering anything here again!
Another great visit. This was the 2nd time going with my daughter and we both love it. This time she tried a frappe and a bagel, I had the black and white latte and the Mediterranean wrap. Delicious. Looking forward to trying something different again on the next visit. Almost forgot, we also got a muffin while we were there as well. LOL.
I ordered a mobile order and it was the wrong meat
And u can tell they don’t get orders wrong often. The lady at the front was beyond sweet trying to make up for it. Apologized profusely and offered me a coffee to make up for it. She was the sweetest pea ever. I’d go back just to support her she’s A1 and I like her kindness
Coming to Java Surf was like walking into a friends house- the owner was amazing coming from behind the counter to welcome and guide us. The menu had a wonderful assortment both beverages and food. Everyone was super friendly- the conversation was wonderful. The black and white latte was just what this tired mama needed- my kiddos loved their smoothies and bacon, egg and cheese croissants- they said they were the best ever! I’ve gone to a lot of coffee shops- most pretentious and unwelcoming- this is not one of those places and it will definitely be a frequent stop for me when I’m at the Oceanfront. I’d give it 10 stars if google would let me!
Despite the absence of a line, it took awhile to get served but the latte I purchased was delicious.
