The people rating this food anything higher than a 1 never had authentic Jamaican food. This was the worst. Mushy rice and peas. Cabbage had sugar in them and over cooked. Coco bread hard like stone. Curry chicken drowning in gravy.... NEVER AGAIN.
Today, a friend surprise me with lunch from Jerk Time. When I accepted the food, I didn't know it came from there, or I wouldn't have accepted it. I had purchased food from there and didn't like it. When my friend called to see how I liked it? I asked where it came from and was told it was Jerk time. If you like sweet cabbage with pieces of corn in it or sweet Jerk chicken, this is the place for you. I will not go back. I will stick to places I know what I am getting.

Visiting from New Hampshire, My wife and I were hungry and decided to try this spot. I am a born Jamaican and there was one other place that had the worst Jamaican food than this establishment. So this makes Jerrk time the second worst Jamaican food I have ever had. we had the Jerk chicken, candied yams, collard greens and oxtail. Oxtail was very cold, candied yams was cold and had some weird things in it. collard greens was cold and felt like yesterdays meal left over and rewarmed. As a matter of fact all out food including the jerk chicken was left over. I noticed the customer before us got fresh chicken, but the waiter who was very rude, gave us the food from the warming trays. anyways i felt like throwing up after eating the food. it was that bad. PLEASE DONT GO HERE, I LOST $40 ON THIS PLACE.

There is metal in the food plus the beef Patty was burnt to a crisp and they tried to hide it and put it on the opposite side
The lady who picked up the food was disrespectful and she called me back 30 minutes after my food was suppose to be on the way saying they didn’t have something .

I drove 35 minutes from Suffolk to try this place today for it to be closed: why have hours of operations if your not going to be open on time and this was my first time trying this place. First impression is everything and now I refuse to try a place that does not stick to the hours they tell the public they will be open.
Found the place on the web and it didn't disappoint. Reviews were right on. Food was delicious!

I bought the oxtails rice and peas and the oxtails had more fat than meat and the rice and peas tasted stale as if it were old. I ordered my food at lunch time so everything should’ve been recently prepared but the quality of food was very low
The food was good. I will be going back.

Went by today because I have not eaten here in a while. I had a taste for Curry chicken today. So I decided on the lunch special but asked if it would be ok if I could have only legs no thighs; a woman said she cannot guarantee it and does want not to dig all around to look for legs to mess up the other chicken. Remind you no one had touched the Curry Chicken because this was at 11:30 am and they open at 11am; and all they have is dark meat in Curry Chicken. I do not know if Dexter was there but I know for sure if Dexter was there I would have gotten the chicken legs I requested. But I will not be coming back. Because if that’s so much of a hassle to get 2 chicken legs for lunch I don’t want to eat here. I had another review up when they had first opened but I changed it today. People don’t waste your time at Jerrrk Time.

Not worth what is being charged oxtails very fatty and smother in gravy and it appears sweet tasting why. Cabbage mushy and rice . I do not like and we had food here before which is why we went again , traveling from NY.

got the oxtails rice & mac and cheese. ($27) i feel like she counted my oxtails only got 5 pieces of meat. it was so fatty & pale like it needed some browning. and they were sweet. tasted like bbq chicken. the rice tasted old and was hard. and mac and cheese was disappointing as well. gave it to my 10 month old and he threw it up. before the actual meal i ordered a beef patty cocobread and cheese($11). they put my coco bread in the microwave with shredded cheddar cheese. it threw me off cause i wanted the cheese inside my beef patty & my beef patty inside the cocobread. my husband got a small plate with just curry goat ($20) that was the only decent thing we ate. overall i do not recommend. too expensive for low quality food. i was hoping for NY food. set my standards too high

My review is based off the food alone, as we had a craving for Caribbean food today and decided to have it delivered since we are new to the area. Unfortunately, this food was very disappointing and does not compare to the other Caribbean restaurants we’ve eaten from in surrounding areas. The mac and cheese was dry and lacked seasoning, the sweet potatoes had pineapple chunks in them that made it absolutely disgusting along with being completely mashed, the chicken was also dry and not a hint of spice from the jerk sauce, must be eaten with a beverage or you could very well choke. So upsetting to waste $40 on our meals as first time customers.
