The fact that it’s still a 4 is hilarious even tho they fell off a lot. We started at the one on the blvd years ago, it was a hidden gem then. Then they blew up and of course, it started lacking a little. I got a burrito the other day, it used to come with lettuce and tomatoes on top, along with a chip in your beans. The presentation fell off but the steak 🤌🏾 saved it, the flavor was def there, it just didn’t look like it used to, sloppier. That being said, I’ll add them back to my rotation 😂

My first time eating at this restaurant since I was in Virginia for the first time ever and I want to say my husband( Puerto Rican American) and I(Mexican American) both loved the food here, very fresh, a good amount of food and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back again!

WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO ORDER A CATERED MEAL FROM HERE!!!
If you order a catered meal from them, plan to either get your plates, plastic silverware and napkins from somewhere else. I had them cater an event. I asked for plates, napkins and such, which have ALWAYS been included as part of a catering service in all of my other experiences of having events catered in my 20+ years of working. I was told that the cost extra. Understood, but here’s the kicker: the wanted $1 each for a plastic plate. I did not even asked what they charged for the rest of their paper products and will never go here nor have anything catered from them ever again. The food was mid.

Fantastic food, different atmosphere and food than the run of the mill Mexican restaurant. They also have a food challenge to eat three tacos and a bowl of Birria Ramen in under 30 minutes. Good luck with that because the tacos are huge and filled with tender roasted beef. All in all, great drinks, great food, great service.

Our Go-To for Amazing Tacos & Tequila – A True Gem!

Jessy's Tacos and Tequila in Virginia Beach is an absolute favorite, and my mom and I have been coming here for a while now for our special one-on-one time. This place is truly amazing!

The FOOD is consistently incredible – every dish we've tried has been bursting with authentic Mexican flavors. You can tell they put a lot of care into their cooking. Beyond the delicious food, the staff is also top-notch. They are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican spot with fantastic food and wonderful service, I highly recommend Jessy's Tacos and Tequila. It's a true gem in Virginia Beach!

DO NOT ORDER FOOD TO GO.. They will assure you that everything is correct, but it is not. Even if you tip 30% on a to go order it will be wrong. They are nearby and we have ordered from them a lot, the last five times the orders were all missing key items for each entree. Emailing the owner delivers no response. They don’t care if it’s a $30 order or a $400 order, it will be wrong. Picture is “chilaquiles” but it’s just tortilla chips. What a waste of money!

A little crowded and slow to get food. Food was fine and maybe slightly pricey for what it was. No major issues but it doesn't stand out much as a restaurant.
