Great food,music,and service!!

I know this review is late, but my boyfriend & I visited here for Valentine’s Day. The host staff allowed us to choose our seats — we settled at the bar. We were greeted by the owner and offered a tour of the restaurant! Our bartender was lovely and the drink was pleasant.

Entree’s: The wedge salad was to die for and the crab cakes were no so authentic with no fillers or additives.
I ordered the lamb chops, super yummy. My boyfriend had a steak entree with plantains.

All & All, we will return every time I visit Virginia Beach .

Ordered Fish and Chip, Lobster ravioli was delicious. But Spinach & Artichoke dip is 10 out of 10. I love it. The restaurant is very classy and clean.
I should have tried lamb chops.

Food and service definitely 20 out of 10! Couldn’t have chosen a better place to enjoy the night.

Went there last Saturday for a friend’s Birthday celebration and it was an awesome experience. The staff is accommodating. The food was delicious, our server Kat is a delightful person. We had a great time.

Celebrated my daughter’s 30th Birthday with friends and family today and we all agreed we will definitely revisit. Being from New York my taste buds are those that seek quality delectable food that’s warming to the mouth and the stomach. They did not disappoint. The staff food and overall ambiance was so appealing and we tasted almost everything. So delicious. Thank you for a beautiful and enjoyable meal and a beautiful environment 💕

Took my daughter, and a party of 13 here for her 13th birthday dinner. The food was amazing and the service was OUTSTANDING!! The atmosphere was classy and comfortable. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was phenomenal with handling such a large party. She read the specials to the teenagers and treated them just like the adult guests! I only wish they did a little something to acknowledge the birthday girl, even if it wasn’t a song or a dessert but realize that is a champagne problem and nothing at all that would prevent us from returning or recommending!

Food was great that I could eat. Server was awesome. Lost a tooth during the meal and was offered complimentary dessert. Duh, only could take a couple of bites of my meal.

Went to Jimmy G’s for my anniversary and had a wonderful night! The atmosphere is great; very classy but laid back. Me and my girlfriend both got the Strip Steak which was cooked to perfection. Very generous cut of meat, and the flavor was phenomenal! Our server Connor went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and above all incredibly kind and outgoing. This was my first time here, but we will definitely be coming back.

I’d been eager to try Jimmy G’s since they opened and finally got the chance on Valentine’s Day. Parking was a challenge due to the busy Valentine’s crowd, but a well-dressed gentleman greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. Inside, two energetic and friendly hostesses were waiting behind the counter. One of them confirmed our reservation, chatted with us as she led us toward our table, and then handed us off to another young lady who was to seat us.

We were initially placed in a back area behind a wall divider at a small, round, high table. It quickly became clear that this setup wasn’t what we had in mind for our evening—the table was wobbly, cramped, and uncomfortable. My husband asked if we could be reseated, and after a brief wait, the young lady kindly escorted us to a more comfortable table.

Once settled with nice music in the background, our night went as planned. Our waitress was professional, kind, and accommodating, and the drinks, appetizers, and food were enjoyable. The coconut shrimp were tasty, though I felt they could have had a stronger coconut flavor, and the peach mango chutney was a bit under-seasoned. I would have preferred the fruit flavors to be more pronounced—slightly sweeter with a bit of a kick.

I rated the Lobster Ravioli between 8.5 and 9, while my husband’s Fra Diavolo—with chicken and shrimp - didn’t quite live up to his initial excitement. The white peach Pinot sangria was outstanding—a perfect 10—while the classic mojitos were good, and the citrus white wine cocktail my waitress made was both delightful and refreshing. One of the owners even stopped by our table twice to check on us and chat, which we really appreciated.

Overall, the visit did not disappoint, and I plan to return soon for Monday Jazz nights.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I needed to after the terrible service we experienced. My husband and I were excited to try this place, and the food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our server was nice, but it seemed like she was preoccupied working the bar as well. My husband didn’t get any butter with his grilled lobster tails, even though it was written on the menu that it comes with it. I didn’t get a steak knife to cut my steak, and apparently there’s fresh bread for the table? We didn’t get any. I ordered a sweet potato, but I got a regular potato. At that point, it didn’t make sense to even ask for anything else because the service was so slow, so we just wanted to get out of there. We would have spent more money on drinks and dessert, but I felt like it would’ve taken 2 more hours for that. We still tipped 20% because we’re not bad people, but the service really deserved a $7 tip at most. We will not be back unfortunately, which is a bummer.

This place is such a gem! so warm and inviting that I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with soft lighting and that perfect mix of happy conversations in the background. The food? Absolutely delicious. You can tell it’s made with care, and every bite had me wanting more. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better without hovering. Honestly, it’s rare to find a spot that feels this good. I’ll definitely be back! probably sooner than I should!

We were recommended Jimmy Gs by a friend for a first date night since having our baby. Everyone was so nice. Hubby accidentally made a reservation at the wrong place, but they squeezed us in. Jimmy G himself even made an appearance and played a little piano for us. The food was amazing. My husband hated mushrooms but the red wine mushrooms I ordered changed his mind (and now I have to figure out the recipe to make them at home. lol)
They even brought us a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate our baby girl. 🫶🏼💕✨

This place has everything you want in the restaurant!!!! The skirt steak was exceptional and the lavender cocktail was so cute and tastes so good. The plantains were actually the best plantains I’ve ever had!!!! Connor provided outstanding service and was very knowledgeable! David came over to our table and greeted us and gave us some background on the restaurant and it was really just fabulous: My sister and I really had the best time, thanks so much 💗💗💗
