My husband and I had been out Christmas shopping and we were ready to drop. Coming up the rear of the mall we saw the new chophouse and we thought let’s go try it. I couldn’t be happier that we did. It was very lively as it was Christmas. But all that absolutely went completely out of my mind when I was served the most incredibly impeccable lobster bisque. It was served so delicately, and in a way I’ve never seen, but the taste was out of this world. There was a place in Los Angeles called ‘hamburger hamlet’ and they used to have the best bisque. in the United States lobster bisque. They now have arrival. The stake arrived fork tender. I did not have to use a knife, although it was served with an exquisite one, the steak was just amazing , the only complaint I had with it was that the béarnaise sauce, that I ordered on the side, was cold and hard. Definitely not the way béarnaise sauce should be served. My husband eats his meat like shoe leather! His steak came out still juicy AND tender!!, still wonderful and he can’t wait to go back. I had a Pepsi to drink and my husband had two beers and our tab was $145 so it is pretty pricey, but completely worth it.

Wow !! This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's so beautiful so modern the food is that of New York top-tier steakhouse. As soon as we walked in, we got greeted by beautiful smiles. My daughter even hugged one of the hostess cause she was so sweet. They got us a table right away. The appetizers were superb. The waitress Chloe was the sweetest and the best she was so on point with her knowledge of the menu and top-tier customer service. I had a lemon drop, which was delicious. My husband had an old-fashioned, which was perfection. We started off the artichoke dip 10 /10 my Husband had the skirt steak with rice, avocado, and chimichurri sauce, which was super flavorful I also had the tuna poke amazing! My dinner was the crabcakes with a side of a wedge salad delicious & so fresh! Overall, this is a perfect place to go with friends family or just on a date night. It even is child friendly we were there with our five-year-old daughter, and they gave her a page to color in with crayons. The ambience is very grown and sexy and beautiful. We sat in the bistro, but next time we will sit in the steakhouse in the back for a more formal vibe . My family and I highly recommend this steak house one of the best in the 757 ! Shout out to Tony the chef what a talent / amazing chef ! The whole staff should get a standing ovation !

I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. Really surprised they let it out of the kitchen as burnt as it was. They made it right by remaking it and not charging for it though. I'm going to call that a one-of for now. We will go back here as the cauliflower crust pizza was excellent. Server was great. This place should do well. They spent a fortune on the build out. We'll see if they stop letting burnt food out of the kitchen.

Me and my wife came in here tonight on a whim. It was the best decision we had made. The staff here is amazing and very pleasant. We got greeted by the owner who is a wonderful individual. So if you are in the area come check it out. If looking for a specific waitress ask to be seated in Terry's section. The is a great spot to come to and enjoy an intimate dinner or even just come and socialize with friends. So check it I promise you you'll be just as happy and satisfied as we are.

This place is amazing not only for lunch, dinner or happy hour but for an event. I was looking for a place to do my niece’s bridal shower. We had a large amount of girls coming. I was planning this from LA when it’s in Virginia Beach. This was ‘it’ the second we saw it. We went in for lunch to “survey” the food. Delicious. The manager was so accommodating to show us what we could do with the back-room space and ideas. It has a great ambiance. They sat with us to go over everything we wanted in advance and gave us a proposal so we had expectations on cost. Their communications were exceptional, even with a conference call with me and all of their staff in advance from afar, I was happy with everything. They were so accommodating and helpful in our vision.Day of: one of the staff/managers came outside to help us unload our car which was so sweet, they re-arranged things to accommodate our decor/games, they helped with music when we played games/made speeches, the food was fantastic and set up so creatively. The chef came out to make sure we were all happy with everything offered. The staff was exceptional especially because it was 53 women with an open bar! They were super patient with all of us ladies. I can’t say enough great things about you guys. Oh yeah, order cheesecake for dessert, homemade by the mom. It’s superb! Will- you rock for all you did to make this happen and your communications. Tone, the chef (not spelled wrong!) your calmness and wanting to do anything to please us day-of was a joy to work with, your food is incredible and your manners are impeccable. Thank you to all of Jimmy G's staff that worked that day and can’t wait to come back in April so I can come in and enjoy a steak dinner! FYI- pictures don't it do it justice. It's a classy joint that was perfect.

While we didn't realize this restaurant was even here, it was quite the pleasant surprise. We had thought we would try the Bistro side but, given how busy they were and the fact that we were celebrating a birthday, we opted to dine at the Chop house side of the establishment. Just WOW! This restaurant offered intimate, private and exceptionally comfortable seating. The service was exemplary but the food was the main attraction-no small feat given how impressive this experience turned out to be. In fact, the ribeye exceeded any we've enjoyed at Ruth Chris-which had been perfection. The lobster ravioli had a delicious sauce, generous portion size and was perfectly prepared. In fact, when our bread basket was delivered to our table, we actually had to wait for our attentive server to educate us on the unique flavor options of the three butter selections. This was absolutely delicious-possibly outshining the tender, flavorful homemade bread provided. Perhaps the only negatives would be the fact that, despite the multitude of wine bottles displayed throughout both restaurants, our wine of choice was not in stock. Certainly felt like a, sophomoric error. The other less than positive experience would have to be the cursory chat with the General Manager as he strolled through the dining area. Speaking with us was clearly not of interest to him. Given that there was only one other table with two diners, he certainly wasn't in great demand. No, he gave the impression of true disinterest and he couldn't even bother to approach our table, full on. Nope-this dude called across the aisle forcing my husband to crane his neck around to see who was speaking to us. It would have been better if he had followed his true desire which seemed to be talking to higher value individuals and just, legitimately, ignore us. Message received - loud and clear. Even so, the friendly hostess, the impressive server along with delicious, fresh and unique food selections made up for this insult. Jimmy G's was an unexpected diverse gem. No doubt, we will return. The big dilemma will be whether or not to revisit the chophouse or to give the bistro a shot. Decisions, decisions.....

The inside was very chic and had a very modern feel. We did a girls dinner where we all dressed up and it definitely felt like a "fancy" night out. The cocktails were good, a little on the sweeter side but good. The food was good but they were out of a lot of things in the menu. We didn't come late (6pm reservation) so I was surprised they were out of so many things. I ended up getting the 6oz tenderloin that came with a nice butter sauce. The Brussels sprouts weren't crispy (like I prefer) but had a great flavor. The owner came out to say hello and our server was very attentive! It's a nice option in our dinner rotations!

Had dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Place was not crowded. I ordered the grilled salmon. No where on the menu did it say it was spicy/hot. I tried 2 bites and could not eat it. Sent it back. Waitress came back and said it would take a while to fix another and that she tasted mine and it was not spicy. OMG we were all floored. Never in my 50+ years of dining out has a waitress ever been so rude and just shocking. There were other issues with service but this put the nail on the coffin for the 6 of us. We won't be returning. So sad as we were so hopeful to try this place.

Food was out of this world! The Lobster bisque was amazing. The presentation was original. A cup of lobster in the bowl, then the cream pitcher poured over it all was the best. The filet mignon was so tender I didn't even need the knife, it was fork tender. There was an issue with the bearnaise sauce. It was solid. My husband had a skirt steak. The steak was perfect but he was under the impression that it would be with a dressed potato. Instead it was with spicy black beans & jasmine rice. Be prepared for a pricey evening. No appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 beers 2 ginger ales $122. If the service would have been there it'd be perfect. But bread, no silverware, then Lobster Bisque & no soup spoon. A waitress that had a difficult table next to us, was absolutely logging behind. You'd think she was in the weeds but she only had a 3 top & us, a 2 top. We didn't even get menus until 15 minutes after arriving. We're going to try it again because their chef is fabulous!
