I've been to card shops around the world and never have I seen a card shop charge customers for table space. On top of that, the tables were dirty and unkept. Tons of grease and food debris all over them. All while there's pinball machines just blasting noise. Shop had decent selection of sealed product and singles at slightly above MSRP, but charging 8$ per person to simply sit and play games is crazy.

Took my son to Pokémon Trainer Day, and it was a fantastic experience. I went in thinking it was a free-for-all event or something similar to a do-what-you-want event. Nothing close at all! Well structured and paced to last the duration of the event. Lots of fun games, and all the kids had a blast. Cisco and crew definitely have a deep passion for what they do and show proper care for the kids' fun and happiness. I will definitely be going again after the holidays for another afternoon of fun and laughs!

Absolutely one of a kind shop!!! Hands down the best around the area. Cisco is the coolest soul I’ve met in a long long time. The shop has amazing deals awesome prices and a genuine warm and friendly staff. Will not be shopping at any other card shops in the area ever again haha. Big magic the gathering shop. Generally pleasant to work with, team is helpful in finding and exploring their offerings. I tend to purchase online and schedule pickup for convenience! They have great collection of old and new stock, enjoy diving for singles to unwind.

I love this place. The owner ( I’m sorry I forgot your name!) is always very welcoming and sweet. The employees are really chill and nice. His prices for Pokemon damn good, too. When it comes to the pokemon plushies the prices are the best in town. We will continue to shop her and support this business.
Accidentally visited when looking for a computer store. Pleasant surprise! Fantastic shop, lots of cool stuff, pinball machines set up arcade style and space for tabletop games.

The store itself is really cool, but the service I received from the clerk Tania was the worst I’ve had out of the 30+ card shops I’ve visited. She seemed completely uninterested in helping, rushed me to make a purchase, kept a bad attitude the entire time, and offered no room for negotiation — saying it was a “family-owned” business, as if almost every other card shop isn’t family-owned too. I ended up buying three cards at prices above TCG, but with a lot of disappointment. I even asked if I could keep the top loaders (which were already on the cards), but she refused.
I was actually interested in buying several other products, and so was my wife, but her attitude completely turned us off from purchasing anything else. A terrible experience for a store with such potential.

I just recently moved to Virginia and have been looking for a good card shop… found myself at Kaboom and lost 2 hours in here! They have a great selection of Pokemon bulk, as well as an assortment of higher value cards in their case. I found 2 cards here that I have not been able to find ANYWHERE else (what luck!). Not sure if it was the owner or just manager, but basically everyone in here was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have plushies, board games, stickers, pins, basically all the good stuff you want out of a shop like this. I will be recommending this shop to ALL my collector friends and definitely returning.
