So I haven't been to hibachi for a long time due to price and kid activities, so when we saw the groupon we were so excited ! Even though it was only 12 dollars off we brought the kids too. They loved the fire and the food and I think the food tasted ok but there was no excitement in the show. No throwing food in their mouth or including the people in any way. Even worst the portions were AWFUL. I'm ok with paying 20+ because I know I'm going to get food for tonight and enough to take home. Not this place. My kids honestly got the same size scoop I did and they paid 8 in comparison to my 25. At the end of the day my kids thought it was awesome so I'm thankful for that, but we will not be back.

This place is disgusting. sushi is my favorite & I have literally had grocery store sushi that taste better . Half of my order was incorrect and when I alert the server she shrugged. on top of that it was bland and did not taste fresh . Do not waste your time . This was one of the worse experiences I have had a Japanese restaurant. FYI if you have a groupon they do not honor them . while we were dinning we witness three different parties Groupons get rejected .

Not good. Would have left after I sat down and noticed that the hood had dripped grease on the grill but I had a Groupon. At first we were the only four people there at 5:30 on Dec. 30 (still the holidays) then a family of four joined us. The proteins (shrimp, beef, chicken)were bland, vegetables way undercooked, fried rice not exciting, yum yum and ginger sauces weren't on par with other hibachi places I've gone to. Worst of all my scallops appeared and tasted fake-not scallops but rather some other seafood that was rubbery. Wait staff and chef just okay. We won't be back and definitely do not recommend.

Found this Groupon a week ago and we went tonight. The food was expensive for the quality, but the service (waitstaff) is rude and condescending. When the check came, the waiter would not honor the Groupon because we "didn't tell the restaurant prior to sitting down." I argued that it needs to be honored as the rules do not state such thing. The waiter simply said, "I don't care, it's the owner's rules" following it up with if he takes the Geoupon he will get yelled at by the owner. I ended the convo saying he will not be getting a tip and that I will be getting in contact with Groupon to report this business. If it's so important that they know prior to sitting down, then the Groupon needs to reflect that just like in some other Groupons. 0 stars if I could, and we will NOT be back.

Worst hibachi ever, vegetables were raw not sautéed enough. Food was flavorless. Show was horrible and to top it off I was over charged to cover top that they did not deserve. I had a $60 Groupon for 4 people. It was me, husband and 2 boys. Groupon said must be 4 adult meals. My meal was $21.95, husband $23.95, drinks $9.25, kids were $9.95 each. The waitress could have just added $10 each to make kids meals adult meals. That would have made the bill $95.05 and with $10.70 tax bringing total to $105.75-$60 Groupon and difference would be $45.75. Waitress said that's tip was in Groupon so waitress raised price by $15 bringing my bill to $120. The service sucked and the food was horrible. I would recommend Kobi hibachi Japanese steak house, their service is great and food and show amazing and they are cheaper. I also recommended Papas Greek family restaurant in Virginia Beach, food and service amazing.

Do not come here my family and I walked in for my birthday dinner and she told us not to be here long just order our food and eat but when the next family came in she didn't say anything to them .......... the customer service was totally different between our family of four and there family of three. the energy in the restaurant was not good at all. we ended up leaving because we did not feel comfortable or welcomed Totally disappointed

Pretty good food. Not so good service. We went here for my best friends birthday dinner, he had a blast! But honestly, service just down right SUCKED. Once seated, took about 20 minutes+ for our drink order to be taken- people that sat next to us even got up and left! I would hire more than 1 "waitstaff" employee... I think the owner/manager made our dinner in front of us, gave us a great time- but also got a nice egg shell in my food.

Waited 45 minutes before they even started to serve us. Service was awful, food was mediocre. Worst part was the waiter threw the bags at us when we asked for them. Will never go there again and will tell everyone I know to to go there...

Had a groupon thank god, would have been upset to pay full price. Service was good but had to wait too long for food. Fried rice was bland, the chicken was horrible, very rubbery which usually means it is cheap. The steak was actually pretty good though which surprised me. Overall would not go back
