We decided to try this place on a whim and we were not disappointed whatsoever! The kitchen staff was on a roll! Everything was hot & fresh. My husband couldn’t stop raving about the Old Bay Hot Wings and I couldn’t either lol. Man, when I say them wings stayed crispy and hot throughout our ENTIRE dinner- the flavor & heat was absolutely there! The Sweet Chili Shrimp Wrap was bangin’ and I added avocado to it. Our waitress was super nice as well. We will forsure be coming back and are very glad we chose this Kelly’s Tavern for a lil date night. 100/10

Nice place for lunch or dinner or stopping in for a drink at the bar. There's plenty of seating. The day we were there last, we were seated in the dining room and the bar tender took our order. They were short staffed but he handled everything beautifully and our food came out hot and quickly. I was impressed.

It pisses me off when a menu item calls for certain condiments and it doesn’t come with the item ordered crabcake sandwich. Burgers are ordered as you like them, rare is not well done, burger was raw except for the edges.
We had ate at the Kelly’s in Norfolk yesterday so tonight we were wanting a repeat, should have known better. Kelly’s in Norfolk is the KELLYS to go to for quality.

If you have a mobile order might as well just accept that really don’t care about you or your food. My husband got there to pick up the order and waited 20 minutes for someone to assist meanwhile he’s staring at the food the entire time. Just waiting for someone to tell him that’s his or to hand it to him. Finally Someone comes up to him and asks what he needs he let them know he’s there for a mobile order. They walk away and disappear AGAIN. Still don’t give him the food. Finally they come back and give him the order 30 minutes later. When he gets home we find that my French dip doesn’t even have the au juis. I try to call the restaurant and OF COURSE their phone doesn’t work. Honestly. What’s the point of having a number listed if you don’t actually answer for anyone. May just avoid this location from now on. At least until they can get their crap together. Wild that y'all request a tip on mobile orders but give this kind of service.

We have been here multiple times. Usually the food cancels out the service but tonight I probably won’t be back.
Apparently they only make sweet tea once a day. And at 7:30pm they ran out. Strange how you are out when you stay open til 2am.
Order a Rueben on a pretzel roll. The roll was so saturated with the cast off of the sandwich it was breaking apart. I ordered fries and they were cold and under cooked. We also ordered a Flame Thrower burger which was just as nasty.
On top of all this we had to get our own silverware because wait staff was no where to be found.
This truly is enough to call this restaurant done for us.

Nothing special about anything about the place. The food, service and atmosphere is bland. Shows some games, none of any significance. Plays music instead of any sports game audio. As my wife and I like to call places, a 1 and done.

If you want an accurate review then read this. My girlfriend and I went to Kelly’s Tavern 8/21/24. It took about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks and a little over 40 minutes for our food to come out when they weren’t busy. We understand the food is not the waitresses fault but our drinks are 100% her fault. Not a totally big deal but we ordered diet cokes and it turns out they had pepsi products. Both of us felt like that’s something that should’ve been mentioned during our drink order. Megan was our waitress. She was terrible though. She had a bad attitude and didn’t seem to take us seriously. At first, I wondered if it was because we are younger and she thought we might not tip well. I am an extremely good tipper. The food was somewhat good. My fries were slightly cold but my burger was good. My girlfriends meal was supposed to come with a side of tarter sauce when it came out. We had to ask for the tarter sauce and a refill. She did say her fish sandwich was good which is good because she is a picky eater. The waitress didn’t check on us after the meal. The hostess did. And another waitress grabbed the check. We did let the other waitress know about Megan’s service and poor attitude. I gave her $5 for just grabbing the check. I also tipped the hostess $20 because she’s the one who asked how the food was and got my refill and tarter sauce. Probably won’t come back for the sole purpose that megan is probably punching the air now that she missed out on a $25 tip on a $43 meal. And yes, we were the youngest people in there but felt judged by her because of it. To the other two ladies. Y’all’s attitudes were great and we both appreciated you for stepping in to help us while she was slacking. nobody should have to work harder because somebody else doesn’t want to.
