Used to be a good spot has gone way down hill don't waste your time
We were placed by door where smokers entrance/ exit was. Awful smell and cold!
Son was served wrong burger.... no flavor.
Our guests crab dip came out with overfried pita chips, asked for tortillas instead. They were stale. When waitress was notified she said they were fried yesterday... whatever they were stale.
Then we get bills.... tip already added & $3 fee to use card... BS. Won't be returning.

I walked in only planning to grab a drink because I honestly didn’t feel like ordering any food. But the person next to me had the most beautiful plate, and it immediately caught my eye. When the chef Brad came out, I complimented him on how gorgeous it looked, and he told me, “You have to try this, this, this…”
And wow — everything was absolutely amazing. The flavors, the presentation, the quality — perfect.
The service was 110%, and the people there were so cool and welcoming.
Kelly’s Tavern at General Booth completely surprised me in the best way. Highly recommend!

Thought it was illegal to have a child to be at the bar? The bartender didn't care? At 5:15pm..

Place is run like some kind of getaway spot where it’s library style with volume. Forgot it was a library and not a tavern.
Those who tend bar, depends really on what kind of minute they are having. Steer clear of this place. Much better food and atmosphere across the street.

Great staff, good food and pool, darts and shuffle board. What's not to like?

Typical bar food and atmosphere. The firecracker sandwich with chicken breast was meh, at best. The chicken was chewy in numerous bites and the flavor was disappointing. The white chicken chili was bland and didn't have much heat. Overall, I didn't hate the meal but I definitely wouldn't go out my way to order those items again. The tatter tots were tasty and crispy.

Bar tender is amazing. She makes amazing drinks and waits tables without missing anything. Some of the best service in the area.

The bartenders are amazing— all of them, especially the tall one with the nice butt 🤣 Happy Hour is where it’s at with cheap food and drinks! Although I sure would like a different HH menu every so often— I feel like it’s been the same specials for the last decade.

Walked in for a bite before a movie. Place was not busy from what I could tell. Greeter at the door did not appear happy to see us. We were seated right away though and someone came to us several minutes later for our drinks order. No mention of specials or happy hour which I’m sure sells food and drink at most places. Our actual waiter did not show up until after we put our appetizer orders in with the woman who took our drink orders. Waiter was sloppy in appearance and seemed more interested in his phone than in taking care of our table.
Overall food was just ok and not $140 worth. Experience was just not what we expected. My money will go elsewhere next time.
Was not good at all the sweet tea looked like sugar water didn't even taste like sweet tea and the food had no flavor
It’s great here but the jukebox barely lets you play anything that not censored?.. very weird
So Slow! We arrived more than an hour before our movie time. It took almost 30 minutes before someone took our order and another 30 before the food came. So we couldn’t even enjoy or finish our meal because we had to leave for the movie.
Kelly's Tavern French onion soup is a revelation, a bowl of pure, savory magic that hits like a warm hug on a cold day. The broth is rich, deeply caramelized, and carries a bold, almost primal umami that reminds me of the scraped-down essence of an old, well-seasoned flat top grill—those gritty, soulful bits of flavor that only come from years of cooking. The onions are perfectly melted into the mix, sweet and tender, swimming in a dark, beefy elixir that’s both comforting and complex. A thick cap of gooey, golden gruyère crowns the bowl, toasted just right, adding a nutty, creamy contrast to the soup’s robust depth. Every spoonful feels like a tribute to the kind of hard-earned, honest flavors you’d find in a seasoned kitchen. It’s not just soup—it’s a memory of every great meal cooked on that imaginary, battle-scarred grill. I’m already craving my next bowl
