Had chocolate custard in a waffle cone in March of this year and thought it was the best I’d ever had. The waffle cone was fresh and flavorful, and the custard, rich, smooth, and creamy. The other thing I like about this place is the aroma of the waffles wafting out of the store that you can smell from a good distance away. My neighbor — a self described custard aficionado — recently visited Virginia Beach and went there on my suggestion and she loved it.

I absolutely loved the frozen custard here, that I had to come twice back to back! I tried the chocolate vanilla swirl and the choco and pb option, both were yum. The custard was creamy, smooth, and had a good height overall. ? I would definitely recommend trying out to frozen custard here if you love a good custard!

Been to Kohr Bros a couple times before but usually the 18th street location so haven't left a review here. If you love good, creamy soft serve, this is the spot. It's reminiscent of McDonald's creamy vanilla except they have tons of other flavors and seasonal flavors you can get as swirl too. It's a quick experience usually, it moves super quickly and it's a walk-up shop with no tables or anything. You can get a cup or a cone and get it chocolate dipped as well or with sprinkles. Simple and delicious. Their vanilla is sooooo smooth and delicious.

I don’t enjoy giving one stars. The custard is not dense and smooth, it is bland and full of air. Worse than cheap store bought ice cream. In the past we came here many times and it was good, but it’s different now. But the kicker is the employees up charge you , several of my party asked for small cones but were give the ultimate cone, their most expensive cone. Avoid this place and just go to McDonald’s, at least you won’t get ripped off.

Frozen Custard is better than soft-serve in every way! It's creamier, thicker, and better. They had quite a few different flavors including peanut butter, strawberry, and orange sherbet.If you want something better than soft serve, get frozen custard!

Insane that this custard is so highly praised. It's super mediocre at best, maybe even below average. For the price, which is extremely steep, this place is not worth it. The business is taking great advantage of the tourist area charging the prices they have which are unreasonably high. Service was fast however.
