I don’t usually review places but this was crazy. I got an order of the taco special they were good nothing special . A gringa with shrimp. It BARELY had any cheese the shrimp was cut into tiny pieces and the shrimp was already small. Barely any onions too or cilantro. It was literally the size of a kids quesadilla. 2 aguas which were just fine. In a regular size cup for $4 each. We also got an elote en vaso. For a whopping $50 dollars. I will say they are smart they have notated in the bottom of their receipts that that they not longer do refunds for the food LOL wonder why. No se de que parte de Mexico seran pero cuando han visto que una gringa venga asi. Y todavia quieren cobrar mas por el camaron y muy apenas le ponen 😅. Overall don’t recommend.

Krazy Trompos is located along S Rosemont Rd. directly next to the Wawa. It is roughly one mile south of the I-264 interchange. You can access it from either side of the road by turning at the traffic light next to Wawa and go through Wawa to get there. Otherwise, you can turn in from the southbound direction of Rosemont Rd. My visit here was on January 14, 2025 around 3:45 pm.
I am always up for trying places I haven't been to before. What brought me in was a coupon that was on the back of a Kroger receipt. I had seen some really good reviews overall, so that's what put me over the top to try the place.
At the time of day my mom and I came in, it wasn't that busy. There were vibrant colors and such inside. It would take a few minutes to check out what we wanted. In the end, I went with having three Queso Tacos, one with Pork, one with Brisket, and one with Chicken. I chose that way in order to keep carb intake to a minimum. I added a side of beans as well. My mom decided to just go with the chips and queso appetizer. They were very friendly up there at the counter.
About ten minutes later, the food came out to the table. Everything looked good, but in this case, looks can be deceiving. The chips were just falling apart and the queso was not thick at all. The queso was also lukewarm at best. The queso tacos I had looked good too, but they were also lukewarm at best. The taste of them were okay, but nothing that would give me a wow factor. The beans were good too. In general, the food reminded me of stuff you can buy at your local grocery store.
Overall, there wasn't anything that would get me to come back very quickly. I was really looking forward to a great meal based on other reviews I have seen. Maybe this was an off day, but things should always be on it. I wonder if others have had issues in the past, as after we had eaten and I got home, I noticed that they have a message at the bottom of the receipt saying that even if there is an issue, they won't do any refunds or such too. During the time we were eating, there was no staff out in the main area. Looking at the cost, compared to other places, it was higher comparatively to the amount and quality of food. They were all in the back. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be in a rush to come back. There are many other places that I have had better experiences with.

I was so excited to try this place! I feel like this should be a prank. My fruit cup that was described as “watermelon, cucumber, mango, pineapple, and oranges, topped with lime and tajin” was a container of just mango and watermelon topped with nothing.
My tacos barely had any cilantro and onion on them. My eskite was so watery it felt like I was eating soup. $60 for absolute trash food. The young man up front was really nice, just not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

Last week Tuesday, I ordered 3 tacos that comes with rice and beans, With Nachos and Cheese, & I spent a total of $32. They were adding extra fees to my order without telling me until after I paid. When I came back into the store to pick up my food. They had already gave my food to another customer. It definitely felt like they didn’t care to value me as a customer. I don’t know if that was the owner who came out to apologize but he didn’t offer to make it right. I had to ask about my rice and beans because it was not in the bag. They don’t need to have younger staff working in the front if they don’t have good customer service skills. It was a lot of unprofessional stuff going on during the time I placed my order. A little girl was distracting and stressing out the young lady who took my order. I was very kind and understanding and I did not get loud or rude. Also, I was on FaceTime with my partner and they witnessed how poorly I was treated. Overall, the food was good and tasted nice. However, I felt some discomfort and maybe I was discriminated against. I felt very uncomfortable and undervalued as a customer. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not friendly or welcoming. I definitely felt Weird energy, and I'm used to feeling like family whenever I go to my favorite restaurants. I honestly wish I would have went to another restaurant that night.

Ordered this last night…I realize it was late and the restaurant was only open for meal delivery apps but the food was not good. I was shocked because everyone’s been raving about this place so I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while. I got 2 orders of 4 chicken tacos with the standard toppings (sour cream, cheese, tomato, lettuce) which cost about $31. Honestly, it was just not good. The meat was salty, the tacos were dry (hardly any toppings) , we asked for salsa and didn’t get any, plus our flour tortillas were stiff and did not seem cooked. Honestly I was very let down by this because the price and quality were not matching up and because of the local hype around this place. Someone please let me know if they had a better experience. Maybe I just caught them at a bad time? Hoping that is true.
Lacks meat. We have went here 5 times and all times the meat portion was terrible. We even paid for extra meat and still full of rice and beans. Half of the burrito was just rice and beans. Definitely not worth the price they charge. They don't even give you chips and salsa with your food. Go somewhere else that's cheaper and better.

I've seen this place passing a few times and I decided to try it...If I could give a ZERO I would. Went here a few days ago and got so sick from their food. Place is disgusting inside with moldy ceilings and roaches crawling around, Staff was also extremely rude, and if that wasn't enough the Steak tasted sour, like it went bad...Steak should never taste sour. The whole experience was so bad nothing at this point would get me to go back here EVER.
