Absolutely fantastic experience at Kyushu Virginia Beach!

This is a great local Japanese restaurant that makes everything fresh when you order! It was amazing and my daughter loved it! We had miso soup, crab Rangoon, chicken teriyaki, tempura tuna roll, and panko cheesecake. The service was exceptional and so was the food! I highly recommend you check this place out if you like Japanese food.

I tried sushi for the first time 2 weeks ago in Japan, and have been wanting it ever since I came back to the US. I was not disappointed at all!!! The sushi I had was very fresh and I enjoyed it. My server, Annie, was so kind and did a great job not only attending to me, but everyone else in the restaurant. I also felt like the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend and will most definitely be back!

We were skeptical at first but when we got the food we were very impressed. It was our first time and we will definitely come back.
Everything was delicious and the server (the only one there) was friendly and very nice.
We got in a moment were the restaurant was not extra busy, so we got a table right away and got our food pretty fast.

I ordered the teriyaki salmon entree but the fish was so smelly. I asked for exchange but they said it’s normal and return to us. My husband also tasted and said it is not fresh and smells weird. They should look at this seriously. We left the whole fish on the plate and checked out.

My family and I had a great meal. We had a wide range of items from specialty sushi rolls, katsu curry, udon soup and appetizers. Everything tasted fresh and the server was super friendly. Pricing was typical of this type of food. Will be back!

I went here today because of the high reviews. Honestly the food was bland. I ordered the grilled salmon bento and it smells funny like it wasn’t fresh. The waiter told me I still have to pay for it, and that’s how the fish smell. Like I no ma’am I love salmon and I know when it’s not fresh. Anyway I won’t be going there ever again. I wish I can get my $78 dollar back.
