Clean place nice people but tough old chicken ? in my order plus chips tasted old left greasy leftover taste like frying in lard or way to much Crisco.Side order chili rellano was good but not so much other stuff .Not crazy of that pudding consistency white sauce .Prices ok but used to be my favorite place .Not now unless chgs made to the better.

I don’t know y’all the food was good but my bf and i experienced food poisoning immediately after leaving this place. We could barely make it home after our date night we had to go lay on the beach to gather ourselves before leaving the beachfront. I was violently vomiting the entire way home and the rest of the night. ?

This restaurant is severely underrated. I love going here when I can. I work next door so it is super convenient. On top of that, the food is always truly amazing and the staff is some of the friendliest I've encountered. I highly recommend this place.

It's been likely over 7 years since my last visit to La Herradura VB. I use to be a regular. They do have a Norfolk location that the owners son runs.
My wife and I decided on a Friday Mexcan dinner during happy hour. We were greeted with smiles at the door by the hostess and owner. We were seated at a booth with menus, chips and salsa. Also drink orders were taken. Of course a margarita was in order to celebrate Friday. It was dashed out and super yummy!
The dining room was over half full around 630. The bar that seats around 8-10 was oddly empty. Everything seemed clean.
In short order our friendly waitress brought my 24oz Margarita on the rocks with salted rim arrived and was super! I ordered a buritto deluxe with side of rice. My wife chicken enchilada.
The food hit the table within 15 minutes and was HOT! Everything looked great! My wife and i really enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was strong and checked on us a few times. As well the owner checked in.
This was a pleasant surprise. I suspect new owners since my last visit. Solid 4 and will return.

My soon to be ex wife loves this place. She goes with her sister all the time and gets the fish tacos. She brings me home fajitas or carnitas. Always super solid. Drinks are good also. If you have not tried it's a must try.

Expensive for what you get. Taco salad was good but all other dishes were subpar. Service was ok - I felt rushed, utensils were not included in my takeaway bag. Coke tasted like toilet water - I am assuming because ice was made out of super chlorine water. Disappointing.
