Not sure if theres new owners but the food and staff has changed. Our order got messed up on our lunch break and took longer than usual. We didn't have time to sit and wait for them to re-make it. Also was charged for something we didn't eat. Used to be our place to go to, unfortunately not anymore.

This is my family's favorite place to eat. We pass so many other places to get to LA Herradura. We've never had a bad experience, and since moving to Chesapeake recently, we will travel great distances to come here often. Steak & Eggs is often on our table, and the Pollo Fundido is a favorite of ours too!

Even though they were very busy due up Cinco de Mayo, the wait was only 10-15 minutes. We had an excellent server. She had a very large party (12) and others and was very attentive. The food came out hot and very good.

1-star solely based on the insane prices for the food. The menu online and the menus in the restaurant do not match and are severely out of date. The prices in the restaurant are much more expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants in VB. We looked up the menu before going to the restaurant and saw pictures of the menu with the prices and checked online. The California Burrito was listed as $13 per the menus provided online, but the menu in the restaurant has the burrito priced at $20.99 (for a single burrito!). 3 birria tacos cost $18.99?! Overall, more expensive compared to other great-taating Mexican restaurants in VB.

Clean place nice people but tough old chicken ? in my order plus chips tasted old left greasy leftover taste like frying in lard or way to much Crisco.Side order chili rellano was good but not so much other stuff .Not crazy of that pudding consistency white sauce .Prices ok but used to be my favorite place .Not now unless chgs made to the better.
