This, by far, is THE BEST RESTAURANT in the 757! From not only the scrumptious cuisine, (and you will want to take a stab at everyone's plate you are with, so only go with people you really know and love well! 😂)but the service is bar none. You feel like you are part of a family there, everyone looks out for everyone, drinks are always full, I always had extra ice, we sat out back by the chicken coop which my eleven year old loved! (So did I!)We have never had anything but a five star meal here, and to get to practice my French with Veronique, their in house patisserie chef in the bakery next door?! Magnefique! This is a must visit! This was our 13th Anniversary treat to each other, and our beautiful server was kind enough to spend a moment sharing some details of their dinner menu with us, which left us incredibly excited to come back during the evening hours, or just move in to the chicken coop! Haha! 10 stars.

This was a perfect spot for Father's Day away from the main strip of Virginia Beach. My kiddos were entertained and welcomed rather than seen as a nuisance. Large portions and good quality food. All the staff were friendly and welcoming as well. We would certainly come again in the future.

We had a lovely evening at the Leaping Lizard! The baked goat cheese appetizer was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the flounder, which was the fish of the day, and it was perfectly cooked. I had the crab cakes—flavorful and well-prepared—served with fresh, sweet corn that was a standout on its own. For dessert, we decided to branch out and try the strawberry crunch cake. So glad we did—it's definitely worth ordering! The ambiance was charming, and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered excellent recommendations throughout the evening. We'll definitely be back!
