Lendy's Cafe

Hats off to the patriotic theme of this restaurant. However, I had the steak and cheese and fries and it was absolutely awful. It's really difficult to make a steak and cheese tasteless, but somehow Lendy's succeeded. On top of that, it was lukewarm to cold. Of course I thought about asking the waitress to heat it up, but she really wasn't what one would call user-friendly and never smiled once in our interactions. It's also difficult to mess up French fries, I've had them all over the country, but these were awful. When we left, I saw that there was a Subway in the same shopping mall and I wish I had had my steak and cheese there instead.

I like to support local restaurants, but unfortunately Lendy's misses the mark in a big way. The place is very dirty from the floors to the walls and tables. It is also dark and dreary inside. The service is average, but expect a long wait for food. The food was obviously premade frozen items and not house made, so I don't know why it took so long with so few customers. They serve some items with styrofoam plates and it is impossible to cut anything without slicing through the plate. Sadly I won't be giving them a second chance.

Best wings and bar service in Virginia Beach! You’re family in here. You’re only getting second best if you get wings anywhere else!

I went to this Restaurant last night around 7-8, I was amazed at the customer service. I spoke to this young man who was not my waiter who held up an amazing conversation and made sure I was well taken care of. I do not specifically remember his name but I think it may have been Gabe or Gage. My waiter was very nice too although I have no recollection of their name.The wings are also to die for.

I had some cilantro lime wings the other day that changed my life. I'm pretty sure I saw God. They were that good.

Called here the other night and started by letting them know I wanted a pick up order. And the response was just. “45 minutes”. Not we have a little bit of a longer wait and it’s going to be about 45 minutes. Is that OK? But just the words 45 minutes. So it sounded like they really didn’t want to take my order. So I didn’t even have an opportunity to enjoy the food or atmosphere by picking up the food.

Food is fantastic but the service has continued to decline the last 3 or 4 times we have been there. Slow on taking orders, slow on offering or bringing refills, and even slow on bringing the check. The wings are fantastic but the service needs some improvement.

Solid location on general booth. Really caught me off guard with how good the wings were. I got the old bay seasoning and ended up getting 12 because I thought they would be a bit small and wasn't getting a side. I was definitely wrong, as I was only able to finish 6 of them before having to take the rest home. I also liked that they had an Old bay dry rub and it was excellent on the wings.
When I got home I ended up finishing the leftovers for dinner and they were still excellent. Would recommend in the future for anyone looking for some casual diner food.

Food was okay. Atmosphere was cluttered. Service was fine. Ordered steak and cheese sandwich with no onions. It was made with onions, so the server asked that it be remade. The sandwich I received had a few onions and minimal steak. Fries were greasy. As stated- the experience was okay. Probably won’t return.

Honey old bay is delicious 😋

Loved the wings, server even remembered my order from last visit. Trivia with friends was great.
