Food was Phenomenal. The waiter was so sweet , he was very informative. The salmon and grits was really good, the drinks taste very New Orleans. Real New Orleans food.

I finally got to try Lil Bit Nola in VA Beach. I had the shrimp and crab po' boy aka "The Beach". It was delicious!!! I subbed cheese grits instead of fries, but they brought both. And of course, you must order the beignets...on point. I will definitely return to try their other dishes. Great atmosphere and service.

Service, food, music and drinks were on point. Great music selection. Restaurant was very diverse which was a plus and clean. My appetizer, drink n food came out fresh, hottttt and fast. I tried the Bayou Gator (alligator ?)and Pasta Monica. I decided to do fried chicken bites vs sautéed chicken. Dat gator was tender, seasoned to perfection and and fried just right. Nice portions, well worth it. You gotta try this place!! Gonna try the one in Norfolk (Ghent) and compare.

The food had NOLA favor. Gator tails with Creole sauce was smashing. I was really surprised.Price is reasonable for the amount of them give you. When I am back in Norfolk I will stop by again.

Went for the first time and it was delicious. The wait for our food was the worst. Waited for about 30-40 minutes for our food. They had a lot of online orders but the wait was delicious. The cajun crab spring rolls had collard greens in it. Got the monica pasta with crawfish delicious cornbread that came with it was very good even the drink. Our server Josh was awesome. Will Def be back

Food was pretty good. Seasoned well and not salty. I love that they have veggie dirty rice because I don’t eat red meat or pork. Spent over 100 to sample and I thought the portions were way too small relative to the ticket. Also wish they had a better sauce with the appetizer alligator tail and crawfish bites. Came with mustard Dijon and cocktail sauce. So overall good food but for the price I could’ve eaten seafood on the ocean front.

I tried this place for the first time in hopes of atleast a decent meal. I ordered a bowl of gumbo, kids shrimp meal, and a side of collard greens and corned bread. The only thing enjoyable was the corned bread. For $33.29, I’m honestly upset that I wasted my gas driving there and my money spent. Very small portions, over priced, gumbo was luke warm & bland with minimal sausage or chicken just a lot of soup and the tiniest scoop of rice. And I’ve never in my life seen or tasted crunchy collard greens like that. Why were they crunchy? And salty? So were the shrimp from my daughters kids meal. I won’t be returning.

Being that I’m born and raised in New Orleans the food was just okay, our server was very friendly and honest about the owner and the facility. We were informed that the staff came to New Orleans and learned the cuisine in a month because no one there was from New Orleans, do not get the boudin it’s nothing like what we’re used to having it was all rice a some random meat from Chesapeake. The service was extremely slow and we ate our food at different times not together like we had planned, my next visit to Norfolk I’ll give them another try but I’ll give them some time to really learn how we eat here.
