Collin Smith rents out the kitchen for obvious financial gain. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of this Jeckle & Hyde character before I paid for use of the kitchen. To briefly summarize, because the Oceanfront was in its busy season I made three payments of $600 to secure a start date, which included two payments of $400 in earnest money.
While waiting for my application process with the required offices. I was informed during each phase that things would take longer than usual.
I volunteered both times to pay to hold my place until I was permitted. However Collin decided that the funds I paid never existed once my permit was approved Collin repeatedly delayed providing access to the kitchen space. (Always “ out of town” busy, not open, someone else was there, etc. etc.) It was obvious it’s just a money grab. With no real structure or organization as Kitchen access is “ supposed to” be available 24/7 this disorganized naive process was not what I was used to renting commissary spaces from NYC & NJ since 2018.
With only two weeks remaining in the month, I was finally provided a key. Only for this Rage filled thing to call me up threatening, if I didn’t pay him More money he would call the police, if I dared to utilize the key to operate my business out of his kitchen. Never given access yet he was still expecting a full month’s rent. Informing him how a commissary agreement differs from a rental lease,( which he insists it is) it was obvious the matter would have to be legally resolved. It was, the judge had copies of my money order receipts and Mr. Smith didn’t think providing copies of his threatening text and emails would make the judge decide in my favor in less than 10 mins before him?
Collin Smith’s actions made it impossible for me to operate my business as agreed and resulted in financial loss and disruption.
Therefore I won my judgement/refund!

Based on my direct experience, I would STRONGLY CAUTION others to conduct thorough due diligence, obtain written agreements,( his commissary agreement was copied and pasted from another kitchen with still their name in the contract) confirm access terms in writing before providing payment to this individual.

I am seeking repayment of funds so this matter can be resolved and closed. However Collin Smith has continued to email me recklessly about why he “ feels” he shouldn’t refund MY money rather than just putting the situation to rest. Like I’m not going to pursue it who wouldn’t.

The pricing is extremely fair for a subscription. They worked with me to customize my meals at a very fair price. The food is quality and delicious. It's absolutely worth trying them out.

Highly recommend! The whole process was smooth and it was easy to make selections and I love that I can have my meals delivered. There were lots of different options — including vegan — and everything was fresh and delicious. I looked forward to each meal and can’t wait to try everything else.

As someone who was very skeptical and also a picky eater, I can definitely say the food is delicious!! I am so happy I found lyfestyle meals!

I follow a vegan diet and live a healthy lifestyle, so I was hoping to improve my work/life balance by trying a meal prep service. I ordered 10 vegan meals this past week to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the overall quality.

Several meals lacked adequate protein—four of them had 15 grams or less—which left me feeling unsatisfied and needing to supplement with additional protein sources. The meals also lacked flavor and creativity, which is essential for plant-based cooking. As someone who’s petite and doesn't typically eat large portions, it's rare for me to still feel hungry after a meal, but that was my experience here.

I usually spend $80–$100 per week on groceries to prepare well-balanced, satisfying vegan meals. I spent an additional ~$60 this week hoping to save time and reduce stress, but unfortunately, it wasn’t worth it. My husband, who follows a meat-rich diet, really enjoys their meals, so this may be a great service for non-vegans. However, for fellow vegans, I would recommend exploring other options. I’m disappointed and feel like I wasted my grocery budget this week.

New customer. Just received my first delivery this past Sunday, which went well and was on time. The food so far is delicious, fresh and healthy. I’m getting the vegan option and am super impressed.

This morning I’m standing in my kitchen eating a breakfast bowl (pictured, partially eaten) and so happy I found Lyfestyle Meals! I was looking to lose weight, learn portion control, and save some time. I work full time and am in grad school and this has helped me accomplish all of those things! I’m also diabetic so Collin (the owner) explained they rarely ever put added sugar in items/sauces and that there are a few menu items to stay away from. I’ve been eating here only for 6 ish weeks, but I really cannot recommend them enough. The food is delicious, healthy, and the staff and owner are accommodating and super nice!

Love all the meals I've tried. I'm here for work for a while and will definitely be a regular buyer here.

I've been ordering for a few months now and I love the meals here. Great selection, fresh food/cooked and the meals are often changing. I've never had an "ok" meal. All taste great! Reasonably priced as well. Easy pick up (and delivery option).

Great healthy filling foods and a great price..

I have tried a few other meal prep companies and this one is my favorite! I like that the ingredients are listed and the food is tasty and clean! Will recommend Lyfestyle meals to anyone I know!

Fantastic! The one time I had an issue, I received a quick response & they went above and beyond to correct it.My only wish is that they had a list someplace of the sauces used for the Chef's choice meals - coworkers ask me and I don't have an answer!

This place is a cut above the usual prepared meals company. Their meals are delicious and their staff seem to really care that the customers are happy.
