Mangia Qui Italian Bistro

Great place. We had a mix of entrees, bolognese, alfredo, sausage and peppers and chicken parm. Everthing was great. Service here is good but understand that dishes are prepared to order so could take a while. Worth the wait. One of our go to eateries

The staff is 1st class. We dine here often. Austin waits on us most nights, he is professional and knowledgeable. We usually go on Wednesday nights, their pizza special is a real bargain, and the best part is it's the best pizza in the area. In my humble opinion!!!

Rob waited on us and provided excellent service., as usual. We had the crab cake appetizer, shrimp and Rockfish piccata and Flounder Francaise, both were outstanding; however the Flounder was a little better than the Rockfish.

Another great experience! The service in this family owned restaurant is unsurpassed. Not a need goes unnoticed. The professional wait staff and bar staff anticipate everything. Our most recent visit was a vey busy Mother's Day late afternoon into evening. Despite the full restaurant, we were not rushed nor delayed in enjoying a delicious meal, perfect cocktails (as always) and homemade desserts. What a treat. And this place is casual enough for dressy jeans and classy enough for dress up!

Wonderful experience at this place. The food was all fantastic. Very unassuming location and atmosphere but so worth it!! We will be back!

The total experience was so relaxing, very nice servers, always polite and pleasant. Our meals are always delicious on every visit! We will be back again soon!

Our server was excellent. Can't say the same about the greeter who was surly and when asked a question simply shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. We had reservations made 4-5 days previously and when we were seated we asked for a booth and were told we could not have one, that all the booths were reserved, though upon making our reservation there was no opportunity to reserve a booth. At the time we were seated there were 7 empty booths. When we left 75 minutes lster there were still 6 empty booths. Were all booths realky reserved when we arrived, I doubt it. As for the food, the veal parm was its usual excellent dish, the fettucini with bolognese was not great.

Visiting for the weekend - SO glad we found this neighborhood gem! Service was VERY good - (though they could use more wait staff - it was obvious how many tables each had to service!). Had focaccia to start - awesome! Seafood risotto was awesome - much more ingredients than risotto - perfect! Great wine list. Tons of menu choices too. Definitely “strip plaza” vibe but the food makes up for it! Would highly recommend & would return if in the area again!!

Experience was outstanding overall. It was Valentine's Day so the place was PACKED. Therfore the staff were a bit swamped and the place was a tad louder than it normally would be, but the staff were doing terrific with the crowd they had and the noise was still good compared to what it could be. Would highly recommend!!!

My Husband and I love to eat there. I can not have salt in my food. The Chef cooks Chicken dish without salt My Husband loves Lasagna there and clams with red sauce. Would recommend to relatives and friends to eat there

Very pleasant in every aspect, food was delicious and very attentive wait staff. Moderate wait time for food but came out hot and fresh, moderately expensive but food was worth the wait. Only drawback was drinks expensive and served in small glasses with lots of ice.

I grew up in the Northeast. I am used to excellent Italian food.

This has been my husband's and my favorite date night restaurant for the 4 years we've lived in Virginia Beach. My husband is from New Jersey, and this restaurant has always reminded him of home. We love everything about Mangia Qui!
