The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was not. The environment in general is not safe for the people of color. Owner has a negative attitude as if you eating there is an inconvenience. The owner berates her staff and if you do not make a reservation, you will be laughed at and mocked. Her Google replies to the reviews is madly disrespectful. DO NOT EAT HERE!
We had a 6:45 reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. The restaurant is small, dark, and dated — it looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 1970s. The hostess seated us at a table right in the middle of the restaurant, between the bar and the kitchen, even though there was an open booth and other tables available. When I politely asked if we could sit in one of the booths, she said no — they were “reserved for someone else.” I mentioned that we also had reservations, but she refused to accommodate us or offer another option. We decided to stay and look at the menu anyway. After a few minutes, someone dropped off water and said our waiter would be with us soon. Several more minutes went by before a waiter walked past and said he'd be with us shortly — but never returned. Meanwhile, another party arrived, clearly regulars, and were immediately seated in the booth we had requested. The waiter and hostess chatted with them, took their drink orders, and treated them like VIPs while ignoring us entirely. At that point, it was obvious the kind of service we could expect, so we left and took our business elsewhere. Judging by what we saw of the food on other tables, we didn't feel we were missing much. Overall, an unwelcoming and unprofessional experience.

We celebrated my mother in law’s 75th birthday tonight with a party of eight, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The service was excellent, attentive without ever making us feel rushed, allowing us to enjoy the evening at our own pace.
The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone loved their meal. It is not easy to please a large group, but they did it flawlessly.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend Mangia Qui to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

We came here for the first time for dinner. We were quite disappointed. The online menu on their website had completely different prices listed than what the restaurant menu had which is very deceiving. We ordered the lasagna and Alfredo and added scallops. While the scallops were good, the price to add them was $15. Both entrees were disappointing and lacking flavor. The service was great and they were attentive. Unfortunately we will not return.

The food was tasty. Friendly service. Only criticism is that one of the waiters was talking super loud to one of the cooks towards the back room where it was annoying and so loud it disrupted the nice music and relaxed dining atmosphere. He was talking super loud about his favorite football team, etc. Other than that, this place exceeded expectation.
Great experience....Staff and food was wonderful, will be back

Good food but no gluten-free pasta. Not even if you call ahead. I think there were two entrees posted as gf. But the choices are varied if you have no restrictions. The three at our table raved about the seafood zucchini. The waiter was a bit much. He might have been a bit too attentive early on. We were glad as the tables started to fill, he had things to do.
They have an amazing white balsamic vingerette dressing. The food tasted very fresh. The bread was made perfectly.

We've dined at Mangia Qui Italian several times and were usually pleased with cuisine and service. We made a miscalculation for our most recent visit as Wednesdays are pizza special night but we were not interested in pizza. The restaurant was very busy with pizza customers; we ordered a bottle of wine, small salads, and two pasta entrees. The wine arrived, though the primitivo we wanted was not in stock, which has consistently been the case, but it remains on the wine list. The suggested replacement was delicious, but much more expensive. After about 20 minutes, the salads were served. The pizzas were flying out of the kitchen, but our pasta orders were not. A half hour later we spoke with our server who said our orders were coming up soon. Having nearly finished the wine, we asked him to have them boxed up and headed home. We enjoyed them at home the next evening on our schedule.
We love Mangia Qui and supporting locals! Rob and Austin are the best and make the experience so personable! Food is always amazing!! We love taking friends who have never been!
