This place is THE place for Italian. Don’t be skeptical from street view, this place is worth your time. I had the eggplant parmesan and tiramisu. My husband had the gluten free pizza and the crust was so good, we had to double check with the server to make sure it was gluten free (it was). Everything was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free pizza.

Went there for Valentine's Day dinner. I would first like to say that this is not an upscale restaurant. It's pretty casual. I don't say that as a negative, just informative for anyone who may select this as a "fine dining" dinner date. We had reservations, but instead of being seated in a cozy booth, we were placed at a table with high traffic around us. The wait staff was undermanned that night, and we were waiting a very long time before we even received the basic bread and water. The food was not seasoned very well either once we did finally receive our order, which we also waited a very long time for. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. It had absolutely no flavor to it or the grilled chicken in it. Our drinks were strong, probably the only good thing about the meal. We were not pleased with our service or the meal. It's a one and done for us.Parking: There is minimal parking in front of the restaurant. You are forced to either park on the street across from the side of the restaurant or in the church parking lot over there.

Our waiter was hilarious and was well versed in how to vividly describe the specials. My mangaihattan was very strong like I like em' might need a two drink limit on that glass of amazing. Dinner was wonderful, we ended with the tiramisu. Pure homemade goodness. One of the best in Hampton Roads

Once again everything was outstanding! A special thank you and appreciation for being able to change my reservation from 2 to 4 to include my son and daughter-n-law on a less than 20hr request. They absolutely loved it!! You've gained a couple more returning customers!!

Did not have high hopes because generally Italian food in Hampton Roads isn't good IMO. Decor was old, stale, kind of like a Rotary hall or similar. Service was good. No complaints about host/waiter/service. Was disappointed by the pasta...while "fresh," it is not made o -site it is brought in through a distributor. Less than stellar. Marinara was far too acidic. Fried mozzarella was good (supposedly made in house) but was a bit under fried for my taste. Overall, pretty standard for area Italian. Underwhelming and not worth a second visit.

Didn't like where we were seated; had a reservation so shouldn't have been stuck in the bar corner, next to staff doing paperwork and eating goldfish. They were either short staffed, forgot about our table or busier than usual, because it took 20 minutes for our server to show up and take our drink and app order. Then another 30 minutes for the appetizer to come out. We didn't get to order dinner until an hour in. Reservation at 6:30 and dinner didn't come out till about 8:15. By the time we finished desert they were closed and waiting for us to leave. The cook even came out and was looking around at what was going on, not that we were the only patrons left. I don't feel like it was a staff issue, they seemed to be consistently working. But the owner/mgr never spoke to us or asked us about our experience, which should happen when you're running over an hour behind. The tiramisu is to die for. Cannoli crème is flavorless. Drinks are good and strong but wine is overpriced. The food was bland and no salt on the table to season it with. I won't be back, but honestly I've been to worse.

We were celebrating my mom‘s birthday on a Sunday evening and made a reservation for five people. Although there were only a handful of occupied tables, the service was incredibly slow. The server told us after we asked, that he would bring us some warm bread for the table, it was still in the oven. We ended up getting salads and an appetizer. We ordered well before we ever got the bread and when it did arrive, it wasn't even warm. The entrées finally arrived after we waited 20-30 min, and three out of five entrées were not even hot. At that point we didn't dare send anything back because we didn't wanna be there all night. It was a disappointing evening, and I don't think we will return anytime soon. We had been before, and it was good, so we were surprised by this experience.

We ordered takeout here tonight on the recommendation of a friend, and WOW were all the rave reviews right or what! Unbelievably delicious, fresh, carefully prepared and perfectly cooked Italian food.My husband's chicken parm was juicy, crispy, and bounteous. Our daughter wolfed her clams down in 60 seconds flat. My beet & burrata salad was sublime: seasoned just right, not too dressed, tender golden beets dancing with salty prosciutto atop creamy stracciatella, sprinkled with crisp tendrils of arugula and basil. Unreal! Highly recommend, definitely see what the hype is about! Ciao!Parking: We were there at 8pm on a Friday night and got the last spot in the lot. Popular place!Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible from the parking lot through to the restrooms, no steps.

I had dinner here for the first time tonight. All I can say is don’t let the slightly outdated Italian decor fool you. THIS IS THE SPOT! I had their lasagna for $19 made with beef short rib, and Italian sausage. Every ingredient in this place is so fresh it tastes like it was made fresh per order. It is evident here that the chef and the staff care about what they’re doing. This was less of a dinner, and more of a core memory being made.! If I could give this place six stars I would, if you are in Virginia Beach do yourself a favor and stop in and have the best Italian meal of your life.
