Ordered breakfast inside at the kiosk. Put the tent on the tableand heard my number called very quickly.
Grabbed the tray and noticed no drink cup. Asked for that. To the table and no sweetener for the tea. It was in my order. Back for that.
No silverware. Back again. Then no butter or syrup. Back again. I asked the manager if her people were new, she said no. As I was waking away I heard her day RUDE. I turned around and said I'm not being rude but your folks need to check their orders. Her comment was she had a rush that's all. There was no rush. 1 in drive through. One ordered at counter and me at the kiosk.
Every time I've come here is like this but this manager working on 3.19.25 at 10am needs training. Poor leadership

Edit: for the first time in 16 years, my son and I had a hot double cheeseburger and small French fry from this location. It was truly a miracle! However, it was short lived when my son and I took a drink of our Cokes. The syrup must have been out. It tasted like seltzer only. Why can’t there just be one time that the overall experience be 5 stars? Then, the next time all of our food was cold and disgusting.
I find it extremely hard to believe that any McDonalds can serve cold food. Especially seeing that it is a $222 BILLION dollar company. Let me put things into perspective for those that need a good understanding of how wealthy corporate McDonalds is. 1,000,000 seconds equates to 11 days and 1,000,000,000 seconds equates to 31 YEARS! Now think about that in terms of money. You do the math…They have F you money. There’s no excuse as to why franchises don’t receive corporate dollars. I know that corporate and franchises are their entities. But corporate should at least help franchises afford new, top of the line equipment, offer financial incentives if they’re the best stores in the state or nation…Again, it’s hard to believe McDonald’s in general can not afford to properly train their employees, and most importantly not afford to hire enough quality workers with a competitive salary. I’d rather my food be HOT than fast. If it means waiting an extra 3 minutes, so be it. Who cares about your drive thru times either. McDonald’s can afford to give all of their employees bonuses at the end of the year; if they earn them of course.
Here’s another idea, stop paying celebrities and stop making commercials. We all know who you are. We don’t need a reminder or be told what celebrities are eating what. I can tell you what they can eat though…other people’s food because they make their meals hot.
If you want to learn from a McDonalds that knows what they are doing, go to Portsmouth’s McDonald’s right in front of the base. I have NEVER received a cold meal there ever. And they season their food. It’s like they follow protocol and procedures like they’re supposed to.
Original Post: The customer service and food is mediocre. Some employees are very helpful and care and other employees just don’t act like they care. Additionally employees park in the mobile pickup spots which prevents mobile orders from parking in spots 1-4. After a series of buying food on multiple occasions I found the food was cold 63% of the time.

I can be very nice or very bad guess depends on which day you go
Polite staff. Got the orders done quickly preventing a long line from building. Only visited a few times during a brief visit to Virginia Beach but they got my order right every time, which not all drive-thrus I've used can claim.
Vegetarian options: Doesn't have a vegetarian menu, but has vegetarian options such as fruit and maple oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches (you can ask for no meat), apple slices, slushies, black coffee and juice.
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options are very limited. If you are keto, go no bun and no sauce because of the sugars.
Kid-friendliness: I rarely eat inside but I sometimes see families with kids sitting down for happy meals.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and a curb that allows wheelchair access to get inside.

The Filet-o-Fish wasn't up to par here. Bun was barely steamed, so it didn't have that nice bite. The double cheeseburger was up to spec, assembled well, and not crushed when it was wrapped.
Employees are great as far as the customer facing side goes.

Rebecca had great service and answered all o my questions. Had no clue they didn’t take reservations for brunch😂😂
Never got to see my food. Wajted a whole hour and a half in the drive thru. Ordered a 30 dollar meal for family on the app. Never got the refund because they didn't even check the windows. Sat at the window for 20 minutes.

On November 25th, at 2:15 PM, I placed an order through the McDonald’s mobile app for table service. However, my order was not brought to the table, and I had to go and pick it up myself. Additionally, all the tables in the seating area were very dirty.
