The absolute worst food I’ve EVER had! I was charged for 4 fish (per the menu). It’s actually 1 fish cut into 4’s. It didn’t matter because it was disgusting! Along with the soggy fries and grease soaked hush puppies. The new owners need new cooks. No seasoning what so ever!

This spot is awesome. I love Philippine food. I had chicken adobo, pancit and lumpia. I would have posted a picture but it's all gone.

just now My wife and I come here very often, but I'm really disappointed with the service tonight because I bought 2 large container of dish, it was sinigang and caldereta and the lady who helped me didn't fill up the container all the way, she only gave me half portion of the container. and the worst part is she barely give me meat on Sinigang, it's all soup, and for the caldereta she gave me all potato and carrots, she only gave me like 3 pieces of the meat. So I ended up returning the food because when I came back and let her know my concern, she told me that she's not gonna fix it because that's their standard serving of food, she was so mean! and in front of my face she took the food I return and put it back and mixed it on the buffet table and served it to other customer , Disgusting and they definitely Do not follow Covid guidelines.

THIS PLACE IS A HUGE SCAM ASK BEFORE YOU ORDER AND READ PRIOR COMMENTS TO AVOID HASSLE PLUS THE CASHIER LADY WAS TOTALLY RUDE unfortunately, today we came back totally opposite of the service. they have special on there combo of 60 cents discount and the cashier told us we can't get military discount because of 60 cents discount. the way she acted that she will lose business for military discount very rude and unpleasant attitude. no way i can recommend this restaurant for dishonoring military discount because she decided she will not give discount the way she talk and explained the 60cents discount will lose her business so i assumed shes the owner. the food was not that great at all to deal with this rude cashier lady. it's better to go to fast food chain.

Great local restaurant with delicious dishes such as tinola, sinigang, pork bbq, sisig, crispy pata and liempo. Offers typical Filipino dishes such as pansit, lumpia (cook to order), halo halo and other delicacies. The sisig is one of the best in the area and a must try. The lone restaurant in the area with a good selection of Filipino fried or grilled fish entrees. Prices are reasonable and staff and owners are very friendly. Come early as they tend to get busy during dinner and lunch rush!

The location was offering a promo. Kids eat free AND first responders get a discount. When I got to the cashier, I showed her my badge and she told me she can't give me the first responder discount because I already got a meal free for my kid. Promo should have stated kids eat free OR first responder's discount. Rip off

The only reason I don't give this place 1 star is because they are clearly doing something right (with constant customers present). Don't be fooled by their menu. I have gone 3 times...each asking for menu staples... sisig platter and Lumpia. Each time I was told no sisig and no Lumpia....at lunch time. How a Filipino restaurant doesn't have these things 3 consecutive visits blows my mind. Each visit, I was either the only, or one of only 2 non-Filipino people at the restaurant. Hopefully that wasn't what was hindering my menu choices.

Zero star if I could. Take off the the sisig on the menu if its always not available. This is my 4th time coming here wanting to order that sisig and its always not available. Also the customer service is bad they will always give you attitude no matter how nice you are to them (except the old guy in serving in the counter he's really nice).

RUDE STAFF Me and my friend went there today to grab our brunch. Then when I was paying my bill, (The Square ), there’s a pop up box that asks if I want to have a bonus point from them, so I clicked NO. because I rarely go there. Then, suddenly the square froze. She don’t know what to do. (which is understandable) But hey, SHE YELLED THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE DELAYED BECAUSE I BROKE THE THING!!!! People were staring at us, and I felt so humiliated. Like is it my fault? YOUR CASH REGISTER NEEDS A REBOOT! Why blame a customer? Not to mention that I also saw her touching one of the dessert called “Karioka “ with her bare hands and ate it, while fixing my food! The management has to do some refreshment on how to deal/treat customers, as I notice that there are couple “RUDE STAFF” reviews here!

OH MY GOD!!! They must have killed the SALT salesman and stole all his salt!!! All the foods were UBER SALTY!!! I like salty foods but this is ridiculous! Very dish we ordered was way too salty! Even the sinigang (sour soup) was too salty, it's supposed to be sour! I felt like I needed to go to Walgreens to get a blood pressure cuff to check my BP. Thankfully the Turon was not salty. What a disappointing first meal in Virginia Beach to start off our vacay! Don't come eat here.

It's actually a very rude place with the service. It was my first time visit. I knew what i wanted. I told my order with one of the ladies and the one that was taking my order started to scoop my combo but then turned around walked into the back kitchen without acknowledging me for any understanding and took sometime back there while the line was started to build up behind me. Then finally after 5-10 mins I was checked out and almost walked out thinking all my food was in my bag. It was a good thing I had to use the restroom after paying and came out where she saw me and told me to come get my side order. Where is the curiosity to let me know that my lumpia wasn't ready?! And when I left the place I realized part of my order was missing. She didn't give me the soup (sinigang). Upsetting! Btw, the lumpia is not good at all. It tasted mushy and very sour. I couldn't tell if it was on purpose or spoiled. And one of the lumpia was black burnt. How can you server that?! Throw it away! I will not return to this place. They need to clean up their services.

Ihaw Ihaw was probably one of my favorite Filipino restaurant in the area. There was a time when I go here almost every week, however it is a long drive for me so nowadays I don't go very often. It's been almost 2 years since I last came here so I can't remember what their food taste like. The good: -They have weekday specials. -Unlimited rice and soup -Their sisig and bicol express are spicy - Lots of fish selections. -They have huge portions and they separate you entree so they don't create a mess. -They have combo meals which are affordable. -Their Tocino is the best. -The restaurant is clean and bright. Cons: -Some foods are a little bland. They are also watery. -Some staff are friendly. Some aren't. I still like Ihaw-Ihaw and it may still be on top 3 Filipino restaurant list in the area. However, if you are picky on your Filipino food, you might not be able to appreciate it because of some of their good flavors.

Staff is VERY RUDE. There was an established line. The staff let several people cut in front of us. Because they could ask for in Tagalog/Filipino. Take in mind, we were ahead of them in line, we preordered our food, and prepaid ahead of time with a scheduled pick up. I voiced my concerns to the staff, but they simply ignored me. I was not alone in this treatment there were two other Americans that were getting passed over. One person was at the very front of line. If you DO NOT speak Tagalog/Filipino the staff treat you like trash. I have frequented the establishment several times with my parents that were born in the Philippines. It was a completely different experience. I was treated sub standard on this occasion. My parents fought hard to make it in America. Just for this establishment to use the same bigotry on us that was placed on my parents. Because we are not native Tagalog speakers. I WILL NEVER go to this Ihaw Ihaw again! I advise others to avoid them. Especially if you are American.

Such a good place for authentic Filipino food. The Chicken dishes, all the ones I've had, have been legit and flavorful. The prices aren't bad, the ladies serving your food are always sweet and helpful. The sinigang here is my go-to! I order from here when I'm in need of a place (other than my office) that I would like to sit down, clear my head, and allow the salty, sweet, sour broth to ease my mind (and fix my intense cravings) AND it's even better with a mound of rice ( because rice is life!)
