Mommy Mom (Asian fusion street food)

My first time there and will definitely go back. I had the lemongrass chicken and it was delicious. Well worth a place to go try

I had tried to go to Mommy Mom a few times. Each time, they were closed. This visit was the same. On one website, it showed that they reopened at 4pm, however they don't reopen until 4:30 pm. I decided to wait this time.
It was worth the wait. I love garlic noodles. The only place I can find them is at a restaurant in Florida. The noodles here are much thinner than Kai, but the flavor is about the same. I love the fried garlic and buttery flavor. My only complaint would be that I would have liked a little larger portion. Not trying to sound greedy, but the noodles are thin, so they are not very filling. I chose chicken as my protein. It was shredded, and there wasn't an abundance of it.
Would I try it again...definitely! I'm looking forward to my next visit. The next time, I will order spring rolls and/or ask for a few more noodles 😊

I'm so glad we have a local restaurant with Burmese food. While a lot of the menu is Vietnamese food, there's some wonderful authentic food of Burma too. Look for the page of Burmese noodles and the tea leaf salad. You won't be disappointed in these unique flavors.

I really enjoy visiting Mommy Mom when I am in the area and having my favorites. The tea leaf salad is a wonderful appetizer you can't find anywhere else. It's not spicy and has a ton of flavor and texture. Both the Mohinga and Kyay Oh soups are faves, depending on what you're in the mood for. Kyay Oh is more like pho with its light broth but comes with sausage meat balls made in house, mustard leaves, and tofu.

The restaurant is family owned and run. Parking can be hectic in front, with the nail salon and other shops in the same strip. But there's plenty towards the CHKD store. Inside is small with a limited ratio of tables to the small staff. Order and pay at the counter, please!

I got the steak bahn mi. The meat and veggies were good. Yes. But the important part was the BREAD. Done perfect nice and flaky doesn’t fall apart. Shrimp spring rolls also a good portion and tasted great.

The food was incredible. Fresh, clean: not buried in heavy sauces, you could taste each ingredient. Everything was so wonderfully balanced. Vermicelli with grilled pork & egg rolls and Garlic noodles with shredded chicken. Highly recommend.

A friend recommended this place for the sandwiches saying it's the best she's had since getting some overseas. I went with a different friend thinking I'd try the sandwich but the noodles looked so good! I was not disappointed. Both my friends and my dish were great. (They even make their own chilli oil in house!) I would bet all the food there is just as good.Wasn't really impressed by the Milo milk tea. It was good, but tasted like Hershey syrup chocolate milk. I like chocolate milk, but it doesn't really make me think "milk tea". There's a good, but small, variety so that's not really a problem. I'll try out other flavours next time.I'll definitely be going back.

Absolutely wonderful. I came here initially for the banh mi as others have been lacking but it was perfect here. Since then we have tried the fresh spring rolls, noodles, fried rice, and dumplings. Everything has been exquisite and there are so many more items we want to try! Ambiance is fantastic and service is incredible as well. Can’t recommend enough

Everything we ate was fresh and the flavor was amazing. It’s immaculately clean and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner is so kind. We will be coming back again!
