Mizuno Sushi

We took my son for his 15th birthday and it was amazing! We haven't had such fresh sushi anywhere else besides Hawaii. Mizuno is definitely worth a visit and we will absolutely be back!

I’ve been craving good sushi like I’ve had in NYC and have tried so many places with no luck. This is a very vibey establishment with great ambiance and customer service. The food is pretty good. My lychee martini was unbelievable!

We always love Mizuno. We had the sashimi salad, yellowtail, Superman roll, and another roll (SWEAT?). It was nice to have some rolls available without rice. Server was attentive and pricing was appropriate. Would highly recommend for sushi

We are new to the Norfolk/VA Beach area. We've been looking for a really good sushi place. We found it! The rolls and nigiri were fresh. The presentation was creative and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back and this will be our go to sushi place.

Mizuno's continues to be the best sushi / sushi restaurant in Hampton Roads / Virginia Beach. Consistently the best! Fresh fish. Great service. Never disappoints. Carry on Walter!

I've eaten in some of the finest sushi places in the world. It's rare to find one that compare with Mizuno in Virginia Beach.

The restaurant is in a strip mall with ample parking. Many Virginia Beach restaurants are similarly situated, so this is the norm. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. There are two bars and a fair number of tables. Our server was very nice. She did not rush us and was pleasantly attentive during our meal. We sampled three different cocktails and all were delightful. The food was delicious. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Mizuno has been on my list since I moved here 22' (I know late goer). The restaurant is designed well, where it might be busy but the ambiance and atmosphere is still easy to manage. It's not too loud. If you love lump crab in your roll, that is about 70% of their hand rolls. I would have liked to see more defined and experimental s on the menu. The Mizuno Crudo small (was good for two girls) did blow me out of the park. So fresh, spicy, and different. The service was mid, on two different occasions I had to ask for a water refill/ order an additional drink.

Excellent hot & sour soup. Sushi was very fresh, beautifully arranged. A lot for the 5 of us to each order what we wanted. Had enough for two to finish for lunch the following day. Will return, can't wait to try hot entrees. Definitely order hot & sour soup again, wish I could order a large bowl.
