Best sushi in Virginia Beach! All members of the staff who took care of us, including the hostess, were very kind and attentive. Everything we ate was extremely fresh and the service was excellent! The menu offers so many different options, beyond sushi, so it's a great place to go if you're dining with a group of that includes people who aren't too crazy about the raw (or even cooked) fish thing. They've got great non-seafood dishes too! Looking forward to dining at Mizuno again real soon!

Very pleasant ambiance but not worth the expense nor the exceedingly long prep-time for the appearance of freshly-made sushi. Ingredients were assembled to order but were stale; especially the rice and the seared tuna. The tuna was, indeed, seared but not in proximity to being served. The rice was cold and dry. Regrettably, this restaurant does not deserve a second visit.
Staff the place appropriately so the bartender doesn't leave the bar for 20min to wait on tables. If Walter actually walked through the front of the restaurant he'd be mortified. Service is terrible because it's staffed at 50%. If there were other decent options people would go there in a stampede

I made a last minute reservation at this wonderful Japanese restaurant. I enjoyed my food, excellent Sushi, very good service, price a little higher than what I anticipated, again it was a last minute reservation. I do intend to revisit for a special occasion.

The absolute culmination of perfect food, service, and atmosphere. Hands down the best sushi in 757 that money can buy. 100 precent worry the price. The sashimi was extremely fresh. The taste and texture of the fish was a heavenly experience. The rice was a perfect texture and mix of vinegar and sugar. I can't wait to win the lotto so I can go back again!

We got there at 6:35 and were finally approached by server at 6:55 to ask for a drink or appetizer order. The one hot meal came out so far before the other 2 and that person was completely finished by the time the other meals came out. No ginger at all on any of the sushi plates and trying to find someone to bring it took forever. Food was great as it always is but not a fun experience as we just sat there trying not to be mad at the chaos all around the restaurant and the very long wait for everything. Not the servers fault I am sure, she was just way too busy.
