Probably the best brisket around, barbecue was very good as well. And the sides are amazing. I have not tried the ribs or the chicken yet but I'm sure they're just as good.

Wish I would have known about this place sooner! The customer service is outstanding! Everyone was so nice and making sure we were comfortable. The food came out quickly and hot. The flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is cute with decor and tables seat four. They also have To Go and Catering. We will continue to drive across the water for their food. The taste is authentic and much better than the BBQ places over here. Highly recommend the Hogzilla and the pork rinds. The fries are also great

Great dining area, very clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, the a la carte brisket options are great for those of you venturing into keto or paleo diets. Next time I'm gonna have to try some of their homemade desserts!

I truly enjoyed everything we ate; we got the Four Meat Combo with Four sides. We chose Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, Green Beans & Baked Beans with a side of fried pickles. The young lady who took our order was so kind. We asked A LOT of questions as it was our first time there & we didn't know much about the menu. I typically look at Yelp reviews for first time visits but this was a moment when we were driving down the street talking about wanting BBQ but didn't know of anyplace & "viola" there was The Pig Shop. She patiently answered every question we asked. We even made a friend while waiting. He purchased a side of potato salad after overhearing us talk about not ordering it. I was concerned that it wouldn't be as good as my grandma's. He described it to me & I was wowed that it was exactly like hers. Then he said "yeah, I ordered you a side so you could try it." What a nice guy. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and have no complaints. Every dish was good! Our only regret is that we should have ordered 2 meals because one is really meant to feed 1 (maybe 2 with small appetites) and there were 4 of us. We will be returning next week because there are a couple other dishes we want to try. I plan on visiting The Pig Stop every time I'm in town visiting family. I'll update with photos next time!

I thought that I'd find the best in South Carolina or wherever they serve "D Best" but The Pig Shop is superb!!!! Met my expectations! The corn bread was moist and warm when it arrived also the meal that we ordered. Perfection!!! The ribs, collard greens, pulled pork, Mac & Cheese and their potato salad is right on!!!! Thank U for bringing great food to Virginia Beach!!!! Thought I'd never find one near me!

We're do I start with this place. Food is above outstanding. The smoke chicken is the best and no one else does it better. The sides are fresh are perfect. The staff makes stuff you have everything you need and always gives a thank you when you leave (a rare though these days). Another must try and will guaranteeyou will be a fan.
