Food warm & not fresh. Customer Service horrible. I have been here times before & it was hot fresh food. But this is my last. I don’t understand how my food came out room temperature. When brought to my server attention Dany she didn’t care. Just walked away & threw away food. Then as I further talked to my friend about how disappointing the food was. She yells across the room. “You don’t have to pay for your food.” Paying for my food is never the problem. I just wanted acknowledgment of the service & food quality. Beef patty room temperature & not fresh. Also the curry chicken was salty. Horrible experience. I won’t be back.

Food and portion size was ok. I got Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, the chicken was a little more like BBQ/sweet rather than jerk spicy, as an islander, I suppose the taste did not seem truly authentic, but I understand catering to their local area would factor in that. Their pricing is also a bit high but inflation is likely the reason for this and again for the location they're in. They were friendly and had a decent atmosphere. All in all 3/5

Our waitress was AMAZING! She was a vibe and she kept it real. The oxtail was fall off the bone seasoned perfectly however I felt on my plate they gave me what was left in a pot and gave my daughter some fresh out another pot hers were more meaty and she had a larger portion than mine

Portion sizes were great we all had enough to take back with us. Definitely will be back hopefully they will have coco bread its a Jamaican staple just like patties!

I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the dark meat chicken. I’ve never had dark meat chicken come out so dry. Also after waiting so long it was cold. I asked for extra jerk sauce. It was more like colored water. The lady warned me it was spicy. Far from it. I’ve never had cabbage with peas and corn it.
My wife had the curry shrimp and said it was okay which is why they get 2 stars.

Chicken was not done, food wasn't hot & server didn't bring our food out on time when it hot. This was our 1st time coming & my last.

Ooookay , let’s start off my saying I am Jamaican , mixed I’ve been eating West Indies food my whole life and I’m originally from Ny , just wanted to give some background so it don’t sound like I’m just talking out my neck and don’t understand the culture and food , cause I do ! This food was THEEE WORST JAMAICAN FOOD IVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Only thing good or decent was the Mac and that was under portioned , the chicken was tougher the sole on a shoe ! JERK CHICKEN BY THE WAY ! Extra salty and when I say salty , your see if you try it ! Paid almost 24$ for a large to only receive two pieces of chicken .. then when I complained , they took the food back , sat for another 5 mins on tops of the additional 45 mins I waited in a empty establishment, to only bring back basically the same plate with more salty gravy and a piece of chicken that was not a piece of chicken , hard to explain but it was trash ! Rice N peas ( GARBAGE) ! I waited years to try this place cause for some reason the Jamaicans in VA CANT COOK FR FR , so I’m picky and make my own , but I wanted to step outside of character and it failed horribly, it’s hard to say this , but if you can avoid wasting your money do so ! This was just horrible food and service all together . I could write more but that a just be too much and overkill , eat at your own risk but don’t say I ain’t warn you ! This is for people that don’t know no better about Jamaican food . All people that know know , get the Mac and get the food from somewhere else lol seriously tho !

O STARS REALLY. Actually negative 5. Terrible service terrible food it used to be good years ago and the managers/owner are very rude and disrespectful and distasteful trying to implement a auto gratuity policy for PARTIES OF 1 or more which isn’t a party on top of usual taxes that state of Virginia charges and I know for a fact this is unlawful and the guest has a right to deny this auto gratuity charge if service isn’t up to standard which my service was poor my girl ordered a dish which the server said came with sides to find out later upon receiving it didn’t so she clearly didn’t know the menu who was serving us cause the chicken roti was according to the server supposedly coming with two sides. The policy they are trying to enforce is nowhere on the menu or in restaurant except on the receipt after you already made your purchase. The food I got was the fish and shrimp and it was terrible no flavor and it seems they are using much lower quality products than years ago when it was actually good and they cared about service and the food quality I will never support this restaurant ever again and I don’t think anyone should either. The attitude on top of everything was so horrid which made me take my time writing this review. Several other places to go to for this kinda food but much better ANYWWHRE else but here save your money time and energy and support people who actually care about people and how they do business.

Hello! I got the oxtail Rasta pasta! I could not stop eating it because it was sooo good, flavorful, and had a nice kick of spicy to it. It was a huge portion, but I ate it all in one sitting. I ate in the restaurant and it’s a great place for a date night because it was empty and great for conversation.

Great service!

My price for just the pasta, water, and tip included in the receipt was about $40. A bit overpriced for 4 medium size pieces of oxtails, but I have no regrets. I would go back again tho 💃🏿 YOU GON GET THE ITIS!!!

I really loved the food I didn’t know weather I wanted to try it or not but, I seen some customers in having the reggae pasta and it looked and smelled amazing!! So Hailey suggested I tried and she was so nice to talk too a 10/10!!

This was me and my family's 1st eating spot during our family vacation. We was welcomed by the staff and made to feel at home. It was like they've known us for a long time. Our waitress was very personable, and matched our vibe while there. The owner even came our to greet us and wished us a great time while on vacation! Great food, great vibes, definitely a spot to check out!

Waited an hour for food. Food was not good. Cooks prioritized door dashers over people in the restaurant. Manager gave a discount then slapped a 20% automatic gratuity for my party of 4. Don’t waste your time here. The jerk chicken is just grilled chicken.
