If my family visits Virginia Beach, we're eating at Nautilus. Last trip, we ate there twice over the week we stayed. Actually, one of the reasons we chose the hotel we did, was because it was right across the road from Nautilus. The food and portions are great, and the prices are fair considering the location and the quality you're getting. I've never had a bad experience here. I love finding places like this when I take my family on vacation, places I can count on, somewhere I don't have to be afraid to spend my money.

The family was looking forward to dining at this restaurant. We were seated quickly in the front room that resembled a cafeteria atmosphere. This was not the rustic wood paneled room that we heard about. We waited 10 minutes after we were seated for a server to take a drink order. Overall, the service was slow.
The food was fair. It was not bad, however, it was not outstanding or memorable.
There is a photographer that wants to sell a picture of the dinner party with different backgrounds. Who wants a sales pitch from someone who is hard to understand? Who wants to buy overpriced pictures of the family looking at the menu?
Our family will not eat here next year.

We got the seafood boil here, portion size was great and it was delicious. Service was great they checked on us several times and made sure our drinks were filled. Other than the Chowder at Eddie's this was our favorite food here at VB.

the food was okay, nothing too special. we got the quartermaster and the seafood was cold with no flavor to it. we were also sitting outside and there were flies all around our food. the server was nice though. overall okay restaurant.
