NY Bagel Cafe

Words cannot describe how obsessed I am with the Jalapeño cheddar bagel. I usually wake up around 12 PM everyday, but for this bagel I wake up at 7 AM just to get it before anybody else does. I get it toasted with cream cheese, bacon, and avocado. It’s so damn good it’s literally my crack. If I could marry a food it would be this very specific bagel I swear.

I've been going here since 2021 and love it. The staff are always friendly although busy juggling in store and online orders. Great bagel and sandwiches. My go to is a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese

Service was absolutely terrible. Completely out of everything bagels, plain, & sesame at 9am.. ended up ordering an onion bagel. I clarified the type of bagel I wanted twice, they clarified they had it twice, as soon as i order it & pay one of the cooks grabs the bagel I ordered, then another person comes and tells the cashier they only had egg bagels not the kind I ordered. I asked for a refund the manager says nothing to me other than “5-7 business days you’ll see it on your account” no apology nothing. Very unprofessional. Will be sticking to bagel baker.

I come here every week just about to snag breakfast on my way to work. I love this place. From the staff, to the selections, and delicious breakfast bagel sandwiches. 🥹 My favorite part really is the people who work here. The cohesive nature of the team and watching how all they flow together when it’s jam packed busy in here is truly something to behold. They warm my heart and my belly. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Ordered for the first time from here for delivery. The bagels are HUGE. I even got the “scoop out bagel” option and they’re still enormous. So impressed. They came perfectly toasted and STILL warm. Will definitely be ordering from here again! The portion of cream cheese was a little sparse but for $2.50 it was ok! WAY better bagels AND way cheaper than Panera! No more Panera for me lol!

Amazing NY Style Bagels. Had Salt Bagel Sandwich with 2 eggs and cheese. Only 4 tables so don't plan to dine in during peak times.

By far my favorite and closest to my stomping grounds bagels 🥯 ❤️ 💙 ♥️ I'm originally from LI,NY and I'm obsessed with poppyseed bagels 🥯.

Holy cow! Best bagels in the tidewater region. Hands down! Get yourself a pork roll with SPK. It is a rite of bagel passage and they have a perfect version outside of NJ, here in VA. Tried the home fries today and they are also fantastic and delicious. I’ll be referring to them as breakfast fries from now on.

Please ask the person if they want the bagel toasted not everyone is familiar with the restaurant. I ask them to remake my bagel they had a serious attitude about it, made me wait and gave me the smallest bagel they could find! It will be a very long time if I go back there if I go back at all. If you go please know what you want tell them up front so you will not go through what I went through. Not to mention all the workers stood there and look as if I curse someone out.

Went into the café today. Food was great, however the man wearing a blue shirt at the grill had a few loud cuss words to say when we placed our order and started slamming things around. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning.
